Did those, but it doesn't work. Oh well... It doesn't bother me to switch drives in the harddrive settings.

Now when I try to open wiitdb.xml by pressing y, it says Error: could not open wiitdb.xml. What directory should I put it in, because I have it in the root, the usbloader_gx, and config directory and it still won't load.

It goes in whatever path you have for "titles" path in the configuration. I think it moved from the loader's folder to ./titles then back again. :)

so, I got that hit Y, and it opens a blank window with a stretched game cover on the right. Should I rename the wiitdb.txt to titles.txt? I just want to change the names displayed on the loader's list.

Do you have wiitdb.xml downloaded? Go to Update in the settings and you can choose to download that file if it is missing. At the very least it should install it into the correct spot and might work afterwards.

No, those are separate files. titles.txt is just the game's ID and retail name. The xml file has everything from GameTDB.com - synopsis, number of players, controller types, etc.

Connected to the internet. Got the database to update. Now to download Full Covers since I couldn't find them on gametdb.com

If you want to list games from both HDD at the same time, remember that you need to enable the option "multiple partitions" in the hdd settings.
if you enable all partition, you might have to set the path properly in case the driver number are different than when loading one drive at a time.

I really don't recommend using multiple HDD.
You should put everything on a single FAT32 partition on USB Port0. that's all.

I don't know the SD size limit, but the loaders or apps don't have a manual limit. If it works on Wii it should work on homebrew too. if it doesn't, then maybe it's a libogc issue.
Btw I meant to say 32 GB but you guys already figured that out (I should stop posting comments right before bed time) anyway I don't really know what's caused that issues, most homebrew apps worked fine with the 64 GB one and the official Nintendo channels and saves seemed to run fine at full speed so I really don't know why some apps work and some don't, I thought I'd report it in case someone wanted to look at it sometime, in the meantime I'm using the 32 GB one again, deleted some Sega CD games and other channels to free some space and it's all working fine.

Just click on the cover icon and it'll automatically bring up the cover download box for you :p

I'm using USB Loader GX v3.0 r1180 and dx2v10beta52 (no alt) base 56 on IOS249 but when I load a WiiWare it brings me back to the Wii System Menu. I'm using a WD Password HDD. What am I missing?

Edit: I deleted all of the possible channels I could delete from the REAL NAND and used USB Loader GX to dump my real nand into my emunand and now I am getting Wii system files are corrupt.

Update your loader first and see if that fixes the reboot. 1180 is old.

Dumping the NAND wouldn't have corrupted the system menu. The loader only reads from NAND unless 1180 still had the old wad installer code in it.

Thanks for the response. I've already swapped to USB Loader GX v3.0 r1256 and still the same result.

I believe you have to use an SD card. I don't think it will work with just a USB drive. Also, make sure you are using th hacksden edition of syscheck. Just follow this guide here:

Thanks! And do you know if I have to set up any HDD settings in the USB Loader GX Settings before installing my WAD? Ugh I'm having this same conversation in two other posts.
