4.3U means nothing if running the loader

The loader runs on an ios above 200, in these slots you can install modified ios's to allow the loader to run, the slot number means nothing, it is what is installed
250 - d2x-8final(57)
This means in slot 250 - d2xv8 final code is used to modify (57 - nintendo's 57 ios)
They can be installed anywhere if you know what you are doing. Modmii is great it is easy and as a standard installation installs

Hermes special code
222 - Base 38
223 - Base 37 merged 38
224 - Base 57

d2x special code
249 - Base 56
250 - Base 57

So the game needing base 57 should run on either 224 or 250

But this depends on the guide you used.
This is what the game with IOS250[57] (rev 21008 Info: d2x-v8final): Trucha Bug NAND Access USB 2.0

1. If you have 250[57] installed you´re ready to go, re-check if it appears in SysCheck, if evething is right go step 2. 2. Now in USB Loader GX, load the MW3 and go to settings, in ¨game load¨ we are going to indicate that we want load the game with IOS 250, change the number displayed, if there´s no number it should say ¨use global¨, type ¨250¨, start the game.
Still staying on loading screen.

But in this post of yours you said you can't play online, that means you can enter to the game, please clear your mind, we can't help you if you are not telling the true. The post you made in the hacking section was made before this one.
I am having problem with both i used to play WITH disk then i cant play online now i am trying to backup and play so i need to load from USB LOADER GX first or WiiFlow

cIOS 250[IOS250[57] (rev 21008 Info: d2x-v8final): Trucha Bug NAND Access USB 2.0 ]
Edit: Do you play MW3 if so can i have the files you use?
Do you change the IOS to use in USB Loader, to 250? settings > game load > game IOS = 250

Yeah I can play MW3 just fine through USB Loader

I have a question or, rather, two sets of two questions.

Wii
Can USB Loader GX copy game data off an authentic Wii Disc to a plugged-in WBFS hard drive?
Can USB Loader GX copy game data off a copied Wii Disc to a plugged-in WBFS hard drive ?

Gamecube
Can USB Loader GX copy game data off an authentic Gamecube disc to a plugged-in WBFS hard drive ?
Ditto for the last question, but using a copied Gamecube disc, and yes, to a plugged-in WBFS hard drive.

Thanks.

I think the answer is yes to all of those.
Okay, I feel silly now. See the next two posts for the correct answers. I don't know why the "WBFS" part didn't sink in with me.

No, it,s actually yes,depends,no,no

If your drive is old enough to read/run copys then you can dump them too (both Wii + GC)
If it's new (2010+ iirc) then you can't
(But while normal PC drives can't read original Wii/GC discs they can afaik read copys)

Wii can be dumped and played from WBFS, FAT and NTFS (some loaders might offer only some FS, GX all three iirc).
Additionally you can play them from EXT2/3/4, but afaik no loader can directly dump them to there (dump to something else, then move over)

GC on the other hand can ONLY played from FAT
it might be possible to dump them to something else, but you will have to move it to FAT to actually run them
I doubt that you can dump then to WBFS

should you already have a WBFS partition and want GC you might want to switch it to FAT
there's some tool (wbfs2fat, see sig) that can convert it while keeping the games
heard good things about it, well mostly at least *g*

How can I change back from the Channel view to Grid view. I have pressed all the buttons on wiimote and the upper menu is not present, where the view modes, categories, favorites etc are. I have searched for 2 hours on google and I haven't found a way to do it.

1# YES, 2# Depends on Drive, 3# NO needs FAT32, 4# NO needs FAT 32

or maybe I can edit the config manually?
You can edit the config manually, but it's not the best choice (not user friendly).

If you don't see the top menu and you are not using any custom theme, then maybe your TV has a very big overscan area (picture rendered out of the screen).
The loader has an otion to shrink the displayed picture to fix this overscan problem encountered on some TV.

Go to Settings > Gui > Overscan Y : set a negative value (-20 maybe?)
