I have updated to 1209 and dml2.6 i have my GC games on SD.
After start GC game DML logo shows flash light on wii DVD I hear sound from game but I have no video signal on TV.

I have used DML lower version and it worked before.
Probably because you used an out of region game (NTSC game on PAL Wii?) without using the proper video mode. or PAL game+PAL Wii but forcing an incorrect video mode.

In all tests, disable the "progressive patch" and "pad hook" setting.
Or just disable the pad Hook.

If it didn't help, then try playing with video settings:
- DML video mode: Auto
if it doesn't work, try
- DML Video mode: None
if it doesn't work, try
- DML Video mode: game setting
- Video mode: PAL 576i (if your game is PAL)

and change the "video mode" until you find a working one.
For best result, you should set the video mode to the game region, if it's a NTSC game then use NTSC video mode.

@NeoJames:
Probably because the cheat codes have too many data.
Smash Brawl might require a special cheat code setting (a file named gameconfig.txt)

I also had report for Monster hunter tri cheat codes which freeze the loader's setting menu.

anyone else have a problem with 1209 when you hit the home button mid-game, and click return to wii menu, you just get a black screen and you have to do a hard restart? I think it mayyy possibly have something to do with priiloader

The only issue I've had with 1209 is that sometimes the program freezes when the game is saving and then it makes a high pitched beeping noise and I have to do a hard reset of the wii.

games are freezing while saving?
This is a bad thing for the console.

Is that a reproducible problem or a random one?
it doesn't do it with r1208?

r1209 doesn't change anything which could make games freezing.
It's probably a problem on your console, and not from the loader (try other loaders and even retail game discs).

@bobnabob:
same question for you. Is that only with r1209? Not with r1208? Is it random or reproducible every time? only Wii games or also channels? real NAND or emuNAND, etc.? Tried another loader?

I think both problems are not caused by the loader.

I upgraded to 1209 from 1201. So far it has only frozen during saves on Star Wars the Force Unleashed. It didn't do this in 1201. I can download 1208 and check to see if it happens. It is pretty random when it happens, throughout the game, but when it does happen it's when it's either auto saving or loading the saved game at the beginning.

Question: I haven't upgraded since at least the summer.
Is there a change log for these "Cyan" updates?

I think my version is right before online updating for these Cyan updates was implemented.

Hey there. Editing my post to remove that giant wall of text, I fixed my problem anyway (was a sd slot issue) still can't get okami and kirbys return to dreamland working :(

Hi guys! I´m using GX rev 1208 with component cables on a PAL TV and PAL wii and I´m having trouble playing Judge Dredd: Dread Vs Death.
If I try to play on GX, I get a black screen.
But if I try to play it on cfg I still get a no signal screen on my TV but the game does not freeze, since I can hear the game´s sounds.
Is it a bad video configuration for not being allowed to play this game on GX?

Thank you

The game is PAL or NTSC? (I guess NTSC)
Which video settings did you try?

Could you try r1203 with Force PAL60.
r1200 to 1203 are using real PAL signal instead of NTSC when in Progressive mode. but some users reported video problem so to be sure I reverted back to NTSC.

No, the game is PAL, I´m 99% sure of that, since I got it on a Gamecube PAL collection.
What video settings do you advise?

@Camurso:
Usually, best setting for video mode is "Game default", so it use the game's region and detects your Wii console settings to determine if you are using progressive or interlace, 50/60Hz.
Disable other patches (Aspect ratio, language, ocarina, hoot type, return to, etc.)

It it doesn't help, you can try forcing video mode one by one until you find a working mode.
If no mode are working, please try r1203.

@Shiranui:
It's possible, but not done inside the loader.
You can use Savegame Manager GX to do that. I think it's compatible with emuNAND paths to read from it.
if not compatible then:
- Extract the save from Real NAND with SMGX
- Copy your save files from EmuNAND folder into the SMGX folder (replace existing files)
- Restore the save back to Real NAND.
(confirmed by Hielkenator)

@Wanderlei:
V3.0 is not working with Devolution, support it was added later, in beta versions.
Current latest beta is r1209.
