Hey guys
USB Loader GX is corrupting virtual memory cards in devolution mode, it happens when your MC dump is not 16mb, USB Loader GX is resizing whatever memcard.bin to 16mb causing currption.
Since recent version of Devolution supports memory cards of every size, it would be necessary deactivate the resize function in USB Loader GX.

Thanks :)

Hey again. I found a bug!

Regarding the American version of Castlevania: Judgement (the fighting game).

Even though it's the US version, it'll display the Japanese banner and use the Japanese banner audio.
I've also tried putting the disc in and clicking on the "disc channel" and it does the same thing.
The correct banner displays on the Wii menu.

I've mentioned this before but that was before Cyan was working on it.

Just a heads up!

Are there any plans on adding a return to usbloadergx option when you quit a gamecube game?

I don't think any loader can do that with DM(L) but I achieve the same effect with this.
The other benefit is that it boots the Wii directly into GX, no waiting for health screen, SM, etc.
I just love it.

This is already supported in r1201.
Please update your beta.

Sorry, I don't understand yet how banners are working.
Maybe dimok or Giantpune can check that, but they will need the banner to debug it.

r1201 mod9, I'm good with it?

How do I change what covers are shown?? Like, I want it to show 3D but it's showing 2D. I can't find anything in the settings!

yes, version "mod9" is fine too (it's newer than 1201. It's almost 1202).

@[member='Fudge']:
It's using automatically the 3D cover if you have it.
3D cover being the one in perspective, it's not a full 3D that you can turn.
download both 3D and 2D covers, if 3D is not available then only 2D will be displayed.

If you talk about real 3D covers, like the one displayed on "Game info screen" (press 1 button), then it's the only place that 3D cover is displayed in the loader.
This 3D cover is built with the "Full Cover". if the full cover is not available (kirby jp for example) then the 2D cover will be used too.

I got it, thanks. I found out I was setting all images to save to the same place, thus the 2D covers were overwriting the 3D covers.

EDIT: New issue. When I try to boot GameCube games from USB I get asked to copy to SD. Is there no USB support??

Do you have DML installed or DM ? DM can only do USB and DML can only do SD.
I have USB loading working with CFG, so I do have DM installed.

Hmm, that's odd. Do you have the release version (v3.0 r1180 IIRC) installed? USB support for GameCube was added in a later version.

Yup, just switched over today.

Does the problem go away when you run it from the HBC directly?
It's possible you used to have GX installed as a FULL channel and not a forwarder channel. That way when you run it from the system menu it's still using the older version it has stored internally and not the newer DOL you installed.

EDIT : WAIT, I get it. I guess I forgot how I'd worded the question. I thought you were saying "yup" to the "later version" I mentioned. Yeah, v3.0 DOESN'T work with USB.

Nope, I just tried it. Anyone else have insight on this? Also, VC black screens me and WiiWare gives System Files are Corrupted. Games work fine through Uneek.

don't use the same emuNand than neek.
It can work, but there's often compatibility problem.

Dump a new NAND using USBGX from the setting > Feature menu > Dump NAND
and use Install wad menu from the settings > features menu too.

but, some VC/WiiWare don't work on EmuNAND with GX.
Use Neek instead, it has a better compatibility.

Question: Would a homebrew browser/filter be hard to implement?
- An option to hide some channels like gc_devo, usb loadergx, cfg loader etc
- An option to list the channels 15 (or w/e number) per page like the Homebrew channel, and not just 4 per page.
Thanks

too many released "mod" recently, so here is the non mod version:

USB Loader GX r1202

1. Auto detect DIOS MIOS (Lite) Version, and Removed user setting "DML installed Version". (Thanks to R2-D2199)
2. Changed the Video mode logic with DM(L). "Auto" use Game region to determine which mode to use, "Force" (use game setting) now correctly force 480p when used.
3. Fix Devolution launching: reload IOS58, and correctly send the used device to devolution config.
4. Removed Devolution's "Video mode" setting, and now properly force the correct Game region mode. (PAL was always used by default)
5. Prevent increasing Playcount if the game launching process is canceled
I didn't add the parental Control changes yet, it needs more work.
I'll work on Disc2 support instead.

I have a problem with Wii title's name.
Do any of you have Wiitdb/Gametdb not working? My Wii titles are sometime (often!) not renamed at all.
It's usually only the Wii titles, not channels or GameCube.
I'm looking why it's not renaming the titles correctly, but I couldn't find the cause.
If you have more info, let me know (which revision the problem started, etc.), or if you don't have any problem, tell me your Cache Title setting.
