i cant launch mutl disc games with DML.. usb loader gx dml cant distinguish between disc 1 and disc 2.. example resident evil code veronica and tales of sypmhonia it just keeps loading disc 1... this works on wiiflow tho aswell as neogamma... Just pointing this out

gamecube games require an SD card to run them from as dios mios lite doesnt support usb loading for gamecube games.

cool, got it !
but is it possible to rip/backup my original GC discs using usb loader ?? or do I have to use another method (like the one I've read elsewhere involving a PC & a specific cd/dvd drive)

You can use cleanrip to rip your CG games to SD or USB drive.
After that you'll have to covert them with DiscEX in order fro DML to be able to read them.
You can also optionally shrink them with GCutilty.

Either way you have to use your PC to get the games in the right format.
Edit: :ninja: :ninja: :ninja:

How long does it take in Postloader to copy from USB to SD?
Does it add it to the SD or does it replace a specific game:/"from SD" folder?

Yeah, I could search in postloader's topic :P

Where do I put my Gamecube-games on the USB-hdd? I have my wii-games in usb:\wbfs\
Do I put GC-games in the same folder?

wait.. the gc games can be on the hard drive? it just writes the game to the sd card when you want to load it? is that a permanant write , or does it delete itself once you power off?

which revision are you testing the 3D cover ?
Is it covers for Wii or Gamecube or Channels ?

Last time I checked this menu, it worked fine for the box's texture.
The only problem I found is that when using a d-pad controller input (not pointing to the screen) to move the cursor, it also rotate the box.

Please ignore my question. I was using a preliminary release (banner support) and just confirmed that this does not happen in the latest official version from the google code page. I should have checked that first.
I've edited my post so as not confuse others stumbling upon it.
I just started looking at USB GX thanks to a suggestion from Hielkenator and I'm sold. One of the biggest draws for me is the upcoming banner support, which I've wanted for a long time. I also like the Wii-like appearance, the intuitive, well laid out interface, refined looks and most importantly, its awesome functionality (banner support, DML, emu nand with management features, channel and homebrew launching, etc.).
The only small drawback I see is the 3D coverflow featured in other loaders, but this is a small price to pay.
Can't wait for the next release...

idk if this is a typo or i am having a strange issue. i downloaded the source, i've done this before and had it work with no problems with the open wiiflow mod by fix94 and cfg as well as DML so my system can compile source code properly.

im getting an error in zipfile.h there is an #include for however there is no zip folder nor is there an unzip.h. i feel like if its deleted it will affect functionality. how do i compile this source?

If you don't have the needed libraries in the libogc folder, it should use portlib folder automatically. maybe it didn't work.

In the googlecode download page you can find a pack with the libogc folder packed for the corresponding PPC you want to use.
Keep your current devkitpro/libogc/ folder just in case you need it for other homebrew, and replace it with the content of the pack.

I hope it will fix it. (or maybe it's a new compiling problem. I didn't compile the latest releases myself).

Usually we are compiling with devkit_PPC r21 instead of r24, as it seemed more stable.
Though, PPC r24 fix some issues (Metroid Prime trilogy hangs with devkit PPC r21 and works with r24)

Any way to hide all the buttons? I just want covers and to be able to use the pointer to scroll, not have to use the arrows or PLUS/MINUS buttons.
