there is never ever a release date ever ever. ever. for any homebrew. this answer is the same 100% of the time - it will be released when its done. always.

hi im having trouble with my gx when i hit the + to install a new game it just goes back to the main screen so i cant install any new games with it and when i click the disc on top to run a disk it pops up and the crashes when i click to install it. does anyone know what i can do?

What revision of GX are you using, what format is your hard drive, what cios's have you installed and which is GX set to run on??

Assuming you have the correct cIOS and HDD setup, either :
- use an older version (latest 2 stable official releases are r874 or r883)
- use the latest beta (currently r1031)
- wait for the next stable official release

like its name says "forwarder" it forwards from a channel to your dol so you don't have to go inside hb channel

a DOL, is basically the Wii/GC equivalent of an executable file (EXE). They come from ELF files, which are essentially just DOL files but with extra debugging information, IIRC. The DOL/ELF files are what you load from the homebrew channel, inside the /apps/ folder on your SD card/USB drive, just like regular programs on normal computer OSes like Windows/Mac/Linux, etc.

Which version/cIOSes are you using? I use r1008 and it works fine for me. Try taking the disc out and putting it in; it should ask you to install it then.

Thanks for that! I'm gonna have to check into the configurable background music. That's something I've never even thought about really. Is this option available from the settings of the loader or where?

I cant get Prince of Persia running under new loaders. I use the same config as loading with 938 and it just freezes before the 2 clouds of smoke screen comes up
