1. GiantPune once gave a modified bootmii (ppcboot.elf) to boot the installed UNEO forwarder.
If you don't have Bootmii as boot2, you have to make Priiloader boot Bootmii IOS to run usbloaderGX at boot.

I don't remember which post he gave the link to the file, so I reuploaded it here and created a quick readme.
Hope you don't mind Pune. or else I'll remove it.

PS : I never tested it, but I'm confident with Giantpune's work

The missing features will be redone by r-win later.

That is great news! I really hope that the team will continue to develop USB Loader GX on a more regular basis again because in my opinion it is the best loader out there.

I am in need of some help. I have installed GX loader onto my softmodded 4.1E Wii and used WBFS on my externall hdd as well as putting some games on it. I then installed cIOS 222. But when I plug my hdd into my wii and go to start gx loader, it just takes me back to the wii menu. Can anyone help me on this??

sounds like you installed a forwarder but dont have the app on the SD/USB, im guessing your a channel guy if not just pop GX on the SD in the apps/usbloader_gx and name the dol. file to boot.dol and pop it in the usbloader_gx folder, then when you run the forwarder it will load the app off the SD

What I did was when I first put rthe gx loader onto sd card, Im sure I installed a forwarder aswell because I was following the tut to the letter BUT when I went to install cIOS 222, I wiped my sd card clean and copied the cIOS folders over to my sd card then installed cIOS222. Is it possible to install the forwarder onto my hdd and not have to bother with a sd card all together??

I am using priiloader and set usb loader as file bootup (forwarder). My usb loader gx version 92+ (currently using latest 937) continually resets my iso to 222 from 249. Not sure when it resets the default load to 222 but it does. Anyone experience this? Thank you.

I also have no luck in getting the homebrew channel option to work in 92+ (currently latest 937) to startup wiimc, mplayer, or even the homebrew browser. Only Black screen which requires me to physically hold the power button down to shut down. The only thing that works is the opera shortcut app which only works because I suppose it loads the internet channel in the wii system menu.

I hope the next USB loader GX brings back the function to return to loader when you exit a game!

UBLGX is still my preferred loader of choice but I have noticed that CFG USB Loader is better at installing games with tiny scratches and the like! GX is far too sensitive!

Love this thing, just a couple of quick questions:

1. Anyway to boot to it instead of the homebrew menu?

2. Is there a setting to let you kinda... grab and drag?

Thanks

1. Use the forwarder. Get it from the first post of this thread.

2. I don't think so.

Awesome thank you, I'll grab the forwarder now

I get the Homebrew channel at the moment which I really don't like. Would much prefer even the regular Wii menu to that, but not sure it's possible to get on, so USB Loader GX will do

Why not read the previous page ? at least one page back, it's not too many reading, right ?

use it as bootmii, or set priiloader to boot bootmii.

@K3Nv2 Snow Day is pretty fun. My only bitch would be the camera controls, when you move around, say down, you have to move the right stick left or right to get camera to turn and get your view, other than that I like it so far.

From what people say pvp isn't even worth it
  • BigOnYa @ BigOnYa:
I just been playing offline, and they give you a few bots here n there on your team to help battle. I don't think it's as funny as the other games tho, more battle oriented than humor, which kinda sucks, but I'm still early in it
  • Xdqwerty @ Xdqwerty:
@BigOnYa, doesnt the game have a campaign mode?
  • BigOnYa @ BigOnYa:
Yea, and co-op, but you can also start a pvp session and battle just with friends. You get special skill cards (powers) the more you play. And higher value cards, but you can only enable so many cards at a time.

Toilet paper is considered the money, you collect and buy stuff with TP, kinda funny. Graphics are def better than the other games tho, I think they used Unity 5 engine.

I bet most people at the time still watched it in black and white
  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
@Xdqwerty, Many of them did before colour television was common.
  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
Likely because black and white TV was in-expensive.

  • K3Nv2 @ K3Nv2:
It certainly wasn't inexpensive it cost the same as a new car back then
  • K3Nv2 @ K3Nv2:
How much did a 1965 color TV cost?

For example, a 21-inch (diagonal) GE color television in 1965 had an advertised price of $499, which is equal to $4,724 in today's dollars, according to the federal government's inflation calculator.
  • Xdqwerty @ Xdqwerty:
@K3Nv2, take into consideration how economy was back then
  • K3Nv2 @ K3Nv2:
Yeah that's why they listed inflation rates
