Have a problem installing the latest channel build. I'm using WAD manager v1.5 and every time i try to install the wad it gives me a ERROR! (ret = -1035). Can some on please help me. Thanks.

I actually had same trouble yesterday with a friends wii...

For me it was that I had a old rev 510 version installed and the installer was unable to delete the old and install the new at the same time. I had to uninstall the old manually and after that the installation worked...

Was wierd but it worked then.. Dunno if your trouble is the same. But perhaps...

you have no trucha, follow a guide to get it back.

since this app gets updated at a good rate for us. and i know its all compiled automatically but it would be nice to have ateast every 10 or so revs checked by the authors just my opinion

I'm noticing more and more games requiring the "002 fix" to be enabled.

Will anything bad happen if I just enable the 002 fix globally for all games, whether they need it or not?

Well, my advice would be to set the global cios to 222 rev 4 (if you've installed it) and set global 002 error to ANTI.

In a way this is indeed true. Of course the programmer does his own tests, and after that he needs to commit his sources, so that the other programmers can take a look at it and test it. That's the main reason the application get's compiled automatically. These compiled revisions are visible to the public, so you can make the decision to use them. But only tested and proven revisions, will be made into a version. Those versions will be uploaded to our update server.

In short, it is your choice if you use a BETA revision, or the latest version. If you want to use a checked version, then don't use the automatically compiled revisions, but stick with the latest version.

anyone having proba with update does not seem to want to update from the wii

yup i've had "no updates available" for ages now even though there is newer ones available.

i've been having to manually update by sticking the sd card in the puter to do it.

Allright, here we go again: we have versions and revisions. Revisions are untested commits we've done into source control. After such revision has been thoroughly tested, we upload it to our update server. From that point forward, you will see the update available in USB GX. Right now, the latest version is 843 when using the stand-alone version, when using the channel, it's 815. Somewhere in the 86x range, we added the option to allow updating to beta versions (so called revisions), but that is, of course, your own choice.

i dont think you guys are grasping the "beta revisions" part. we had too many people blindly updating for every little change we made to the code and not reading the changelog or the source code and then bitching and moaning when they got a broken revision. so now we have separated beta revisions with stable ones. only when we feel there is a stable revision will it be put on the update server we have been using.

if you feel the need to update every time there is a change to the code in any little way, turn on the beta updates option in the settings. it will check our googlecode page for updates. there is a bot set up in rwin's house that just poles the svn and if he sees any little change, he compiles the code and uploads a dol and a wad. so the beta revisions can show a new dol every time we update the wiki (which we never do) or update the language files. but if you do have the beta revisions option turned on, and you get a revision that is broken, you have no right to bitch and moan about it. just grab a dol you were happy with and toss it on the sd card.

Hello,
got a problem here. I just modified my new wii following xzxero's guide, everything went fine (I think so) so I installed usb loader gx into my sd card, and formatted my external hdd using Wiibackup manager as FAT with WFBS folder. Following the instructions I transferred a game (Mario Kart Wii) from an .iso file to my HDD and everything went ok. So when I am trying to load Usb loader my HDD power led turns off and I get a black screen for about 1-2 minutes and afterwards it gets me back to wii main menu.
If I don't connect a HDD at all or connect it in the other usb port, Usb loader loads with the message "waiting for your slow usb device"
What am I doing wrong?

Please don't ask for that function, the coders are aware of that

og message

* Added initial NTFS support
* Added load system based on fragments

This commit is made possible for Oggzee and his great work on supporting other
filesystems!

As a noob in wii modding i'd be grateful if you could help me with my problem. The weird thing is the HDD that's turning off when I load USB loader. To be honest I've got the same problem with Neogamma too. Is it a HDD problem or compatibility issue?
How can I try another cIOS or loader revision?
