Anyone have a link to the boot.dol of r847?
Yeah it's not on the Google Code site. I'm really interested in checking out the changes. There's even a r848 but that was just language file update.
Sorry, I broke the build when committing 847. The fix is on it's way as I type this in revision 849.

To all with Ocarina problems, please test this version:

http://www.mediafire.com/?mmzr5yy0ino

* Added BCA support
* Faster startup on FAT drives
* Using MEM2 (which should solve Ocarina problems)
* Added support for new FAT module by Oggzee (wbfs files in subdirectories)
* Changed the credits
* Probably more

Please post back with results, and please note that this is a test version!

r-win,

Tried this last night.

I'm using rev828 which ocarina works fine for NSMB and SMG.

Via FTP, all gamefavorites, gamesettings and global.cfg were deleted.
New boot.dol upload and overwrote previous version.

Started via HBC - got the verbose on, actually like the code stuff on the screen, something to read while it loaded and if any error's you know why.

Impressed with load/start time, very quick compared to rev828 version.

Went to SMG, game settings and turned ocarina on and saved and started game - black screen, nothing else, Wii hung, needed power off/on
Restarted and tried NSMB, game settings and turned ocarina on and saved and started game - black screen, nothing else, Wii hung, needed power off/on
Restarted and tried NSMB, and turned ocarina OFF, game loads and play fines.

rolled back to rev828..

Any questions please let me know.

Appreciate your hard work on this, I don't know if this code works for you but I saw somebody else it failed as well. You can see from signature what setup I have.

huuuur.. Any cheat seems to work for me. Ocarina is on, create the file, run wii play, cheats for tanks! game isn't working.
have pimped my wii with pimp my wii and running .wbfs games on Fat32. if you wanna know.

I'm having a bit of trouble getting Ocarina working. It downloads the cheats and I'm able to turn them on but when I go to launch the game it says "Cannot find SD:/codes/whatever.sct". Checking the SD card shows the /codes directory is empty but there's files in the txtcodes directory. Do I have to manually convert them all on my PC?

No. You need to select which cheats to enable on the individual game's settings and then a .gct file should be generated in the sd:/codes/ folder with the title of the game's ID. You should be able to play your game with cheats after that (make sure Ocarina is enabled for that game/globally).

Access each game's individual settings by clicking on the game and then clicking the settings button.

That's what I thought but for some reason it doesn't happen.

I haven't actually tested the cheats themselves but I just tested out the creation of .gct files and it seems to be working fine. I dunno what else to say. Sorry.

Nevermind. I hit the create button on the cheat screen and it created the file. I thought that was for making new cheats or something.

Latest SVN crashes if you select a partition or install a game, if you have no sd card.

After inserting an sdcard, installing from an original destroy all humans disk reported 100% complete the whole way through.

Using FAT32, but haven't switched to installing games in directories yet.

Added setting to save games in a subdirectory

i dont quiet get what that means. are we now able to save gamesaves to subdirectories7directories on a fat32 hdd instead to the wii's nand?

no, it's about the FAT32 .wbfs files
It's more "dump game to subdir" than savegames related.

before it was only stored in
drive:\wbfs\

now I assume it can be
drive:\wbfs\gameID\file.1 file.2 etc.

(note : I didn't check the source, i'm just assuming. It could be another directory structure)

Good assumption

Oggzee coded it so that when this setting is enabled, the games will be installed to /wbfs/_/.wbfs

Having a problem with getting a specific box art.

It is for Resident Evil Umbrella Chronicles.

When the network connects and get to this file, the Wii freezes and I have to reset. Only happens for this game. Anyway to fix it or get past it?

Thankyou, it was corrupt. Working now.

Second problem.

NSMB comes up with black screen and says something about a dump. This game doesn't work from the disc channel for me but loads in GeckoOS.

I am using a patched version of this game, should I be using an unpatched version for USB Loader GX?
Go to game settings and set to default then try again

Can't do it. The second I click the box art I get the black screen of death. How do I unistall it so I can try a different version of NSMB?

Downloaded covers, now my the USB Loader won't start. It just gives me a black screen and shows me some random numbers. It seems like the covers are damaged because I get the same error with cfg USB Loader but instead of getting a black screen it works but I can see some covers are damaged. WiiFlow works fine.

Anyone can tell me where the problem is?

Did it work prior to downloading your covers? If so go to sd\images and sd\images\disc and search for covers and disc that are 0KB and delete them.

Hey everyone,

I had a quick question.

I am having trouble getting USB Loader GX to load the game list from the FAT2 partition on my external HDD. When I load the games from WBFS the games list properly. When I switch the 'Game Load' settings to a FAT partition, and change the IOS to 222v4. The game list does not load.

I have Usb Loader GX rev843 installed, system menu 4.2U, Hermes 222v4 and 223, and 249rev14. My FAT loading works fine with other loaders so I know the conversion worked correctly.

I have erasing the config files and letting the loader recreate them and I have tried removing my WBFS partition completely

Has anyone had a similar problem? Or know what I could try in an attempt to resolve mine?

Thanks!

And you put all your .wbfs files in the folder on your fat32 called WBFS
