build 831 black screens on every game.

CFG USB loader loads up the games fine though.

I'm using a FAT partition obviously

any idea why?
Same issue here. Games are configured to use IOS222, of course. Downgrading to 829 or 830 makes no difference.

i believe that your global BootIOS has to be set to 222, not just the individual game IOS
global Setings -> Game Load -> Boot/Standard is configured to IOS222, that cannot be the issue.

have you deleted your config files and started fresh?

Nope, but I found the problem myself, it was just a lack of 002 fixing. I really got out of touch when I switched to cfg.

Anybody get Bass Pro Shops: The Strike to work with this loader? When I select to play it, it just reboots back to the Wii System Menu. How do I get this to work?

Thanks.

Anybody get this to work? How did you do it?

buiild 833 is working like a champ!
thanks again guys!
You must be wrong. We didn't fix anything about USB Loading in version 832 and 833. I'm still testing a new version regarding USB Loading, but so far I've only got help from SenorClean and thanasisdev.

P.S.: This is a hint, we could use some more help testing, join us in our channel (irc.abjects.net / #gui-usbloader-chat)!

How do i get usb loader to download r830.dol or later automaticly? When I try to do online update it only wants to go to rev815c. I have it installed as a channel if that makes a difference?

Well I downloaded the one that you start with homebrew channel but it only updates to ver828. I dont know what I am doing wrong.

It depends on what what revision they want to be available on the online update servers. This was taken from a couple pages ago:

QUOTE(r-win @ Nov 16 2009, 02:16 PM) To all, it seems some of you people experience black screens, while some of you don't. I would suggest you contact us in our irc channel, if you're willing to help us out by testing applications.

Since revision 829 the default cios is changed to cios 222. So please make sure you have this cios installed. Selecting another global ios will still try to load 222, since we need one cios to read the configuration. If cios 222 is replaced by a stub, for instance, the application will blackscreen.

Anyway, let us know if you can help out (and you can if your version blackscreens).

The autoupdate version will be changed back to version 828.

I figured there was a way to do it automaticly. I read a post saying they did an autoupdate and they got a ver. 830 or higher to work with Mario.

I see, they rolled it back to 828. So it there a way I can force the Usb loader channel I downloaded to use Ver 833? Or would I have to use a forwarder for that?

Have to either wait for the channel to be available or use the forwarder and download 833 from the Google Code site.

Phil454, the channel doesn't have our priority for now, so the latest release is still at 815. If you want a higher revision, you should indeed take the forwarder channel and download the latest dol, or inject the latest dol into the 815 channel.

We are looking into ways to make this also part of our automatic build process.

How come the newer revisions can't detect my hard drive? It starts after r814
There was no breaking change in version 814. Could it be that you upgraded from 814 to a version above 828? Those can break harddrive compatibility.

Please try the new version 834, which will be available in a few minutes, when the buildserver is done compiling and uploading.
