USB Loader GX r692 - Click HERE to download

Changes (copied from Google project page):
  • *Fixed the CodeDump caused by Rev 690 when no language path or file was on the bootDevice

Both DOL and ELF versions included in archive

!DOWNLOAD AND USE AT YOUR OWN RISK!

Note: If you are going to 'test' these revisions and you're having some issues, first please start from scratch. Backup your SD card, wipe your SD card, and start again. If you're not at least prepared to try this first, please don't download and test these revisions, stick to the released stable versions. Thank you.

This will fix the code dump problems with r690 and r691 guys.

Nah I think if you don't have the /language/ folder on the drive, this revision will create.

Ok I just spoke to Dimok. I believe it is a limitation of WiiLoad. It won't handle files over a certain size. There 'was' a filesize limitation in GX, however Dimok removed it around revision 685.

The only way round it is to use a different program called SendELF.

Load up the Wii, go to the title list screen. Click the WiFi icon bottom right (sometimes have to do this twice) unless you have Auto Init Network enabled in options.

Run SendELF once, input your Wii's IP address (I think it fills port in for you). Leave protocol as HB Channel. Close SendElf. Open SendElf again to make sure settings remain. If they don't you may need to first try sending a file through the GUI. After that though, the below should work.

Now you need to associate your .DOL, .ELF and .WAD files with the SendElf application. So just use the open with comman in Windows and setup SendElf to always open those file types.

Once done, just double click a .DOL, .ELF or .WAD file and all should be good.

Let me know if it works.

EDIT: BTW I would remove the IP address from your post or I'll send shit to your Wii

j/k (about the sending shit, but remove your IP
wink.gif
)

EDIT: Hmm I just tried using SendElf for .WAD and it wasn't having it. Leave it with me.

LOL about the IP
tongue.gif

its an internal local ip anyway 90% of home pc,s will have a 196.168 one anyway
smile.gif
you will find 10000's of them on the internet

the strange thing with the wiiload problem is that the file was sent with it a couple of revisions ago, but now it wont send the same file ?

i will give sendelf a go when i get it installed

Ah right lol didn't think about that, just saw IP address and thought oops! But yeah you're right internal.

Oh that is strange. I'll let them know

Please et them know ............

SendElf dosent work for me............. Running windows 7 RTM and it just errors.

looks like Wiiload will be my only option, and i guess those others with win7

I've seen a lot of discussions about dol replacement, but I don't seem to get an option for that in the game settings.

I've got an NTSC version of Sports Resort and have put the extracted file from Wiiscrubber in the root of the SD drive and renamed it to the correct 5 digit number for the NTSC version of the game.

However, I don't see any option to enable the dol replacement. I'd seen it on a video in an earlier version, but I don't see it in 1.0.

Any ideas?

Click on the game (Sports resort) the click the settings tab , then click on the Game settings. Alternat dol can be set there.

@logan Got SendElf working, had to set it to WindowsXP sp3 compatability

@logan

Sendelf is now working for ELF and DOL files

I have just seen in your earlier post as well that it DOSENT do WAD files lol

i found the same thing out
frown.gif

it wont allow a .wad extension so wont send it

EDIT: ok got it to send a WAD file but after it sent it , it errored with "not a dol.elf file" so no go for wads this way

it works... in a way.

I while ago, the gx dol was crashing when it was send with wiiload (has been fixed long ago) so I tried sendelf with w7. I had to run the program by right-clicking it and as administrator (if I remember right). When I was using it that way it was working except some random crashes after it finished sending the data.

EDIT: I just saw you got it working.
