Is this in the latest revision only? If you guys can pinpoint when Ocarina broke (what revision) it helps the devs greatly. Personally, I never use Ocarina myself.

Sure does! We moved here from Milton Keynes nearly three years ago ;)

@TJ

You'll need to ammend the readmii if you haven't already. Since r685 to receive ELF/DOL/WAD over WiFi you must be on the title list screen, not the homebrew screen.

Also, some have problems connecting. There is a 'tip' (its more of a glitch I think) but if you click the highlighted WiFi icon twice it'll connect.

Hey ChokeD....

You can take the link to my updates off your sig. I'm just going to let Logan handle them all - as I don't really see the need for both of us to be doing it. Constant checking for new revs & compiling also gets kinda boring, lol. What would be cool though is some type of script that would check for new revs, auto-compile them when available, and auto-upload them to 4shared.

Cheers.

Cool, we'll do bro.

USB Loader GX r687 - Click HERE to download

Changes (copied from Google project page):
  • *add WL installer source code.

Both DOL and ELF versions included in archive

!DOWNLOAD AND USE AT YOUR OWN RISK!

Note: If you are going to 'test' these revisions and you're having some issues, first please start from scratch. Backup your SD card, wipe your SD card, and start again. If you're not at least prepared to try this first, please don't download and test these revisions, stick to the released stable versions. Thank you.

Can't get Wiiload to work. My Wiis ip is correct when setting it up & can verify that it's connected by looking in both the HBC & in GX. Have restarted both PC & Wii and it still does nothing. Have tried sending while in the HBC, GX HBL screen, and in the GX title launcher screen... still nothing. Have tried using the Wiiload installer & setting it up manually..... notta.

The only thing I see is a split second flash of the command prompt on my PC.

It has come to my attention that you are using code of mine. I was not
informed of this, and request you to take this down immediately.
The Code specified is at the following locations:
1)
http://code.google.com/p/usbloader-gui/sou.../banner/brlan.c
2)
http://code.google.com/p/usbloader-gui/sou.../banner/brlan.h
and some portions of the following codes:
1)
http://code.google.com/p/usbloader-gui/sou.../banner/brlyt.c
2)
http://code.google.com/p/usbloader-gui/sou.../banner/brlyt.c

These were taken from my Banner Player project (part of the Benzin project)
Please take these down, or I will have to take further actions.

would it be possible to hide the top bar (favorites, list view, etc) when locking the loader? Would be nice to just select what you want for kids and hide the bar just like the install options including the HBC icon.

If this stuffs open source why would he say take it down ???

I don't know the techs on this but it looks like it's open source to me:

Benzin

github

Found this,
"This application is free for personal use. This application may be distributed publicly so long as it's free, the original docs are included, and credit is given to the author. This application may also be packed with other tools, so long as the license agreement is still upheld."

Sounds like all the guy wants is a "hey, you mind if we used this stuff, it's awesome code and the community would benefit from it".

This stuff isn't anything that's being used right now but regrettably it is the stuff that would eventually allow for banner display. I'm sure they'll work something out.

that code can be rewritten anyways, the other coder should not get his panties in a bunch anyway its not like its a commercial application he can go suck a donkey kong.
if he didnt want other people using it he wouldn't have made it publicly available, the internet doesn't forget.

BTW latest svn works good thanks for the effort!

Well that's good and bad I guess. I thought they had already used it to produce the animated banner they have for the USB Loader GX channel .wad.

But there again I don't know much about the code in the actual loader. I do know that someone had said there was code in it that hadn't been implemented yet, but the particulars ? IDK.

Reading about the author of the Benzin Project he seems like a reasonable guy though.

I'm going to double post here for a reason:

I got roughly 80 extra disc(mostly disc) & cover images the server is missing. All the images I have are either downloaded from the server or I found and TESTED EVERY one to be good. I did not separate the images that it already has. They are all of good quality and are ready to go. I forget who told me to send them to them for the image server but here they are. It took some time to find/make these I hope someone enjoys.
202 covers & 192 disc images ready for USB Loader GX

Disc and Cover images the server is missing including existing images the server has

Only discs that are missing is the very newest of the new. Anyone is welcome to download them.
