getting same code dump with rev413 - rev414 - rev415 rev416 and rev417 when trying to download covers switched to rev409 works fine .

when you "safely remove" a USB drive, windows just makes sure its not accessing it in any way... it still abruptly shuts off.

what do you think happens when you shut down your PC - internal and external HDD's just power down abruptly. its fine.

listen guys GP is correct, the first post encompasses most instructions. thereafter there is the dreaded 'search' facility which can be used. OMG

this thread is over 300 posts long and the questions are becoming repetitive. new posters should take the time to read through the thread to understand how the software has evolved. for god sakes, have a little respect for the programmers who are coming back into this thread for feedback purposes and not to answer repeats.

Well, if you add this function you have trouble with a couple game.... If you look some HD have Spindown feature on it and all users remove it!


p.s. je parle français je suis de Montreal, si tu ajoute cette fonction, tu vas avoir de la misère avec des jeux si tu les mets sur pause ou que le jeu demande pas ou peu de lecture sur le HD... Il y a plusieurs disques durs qui ont cette fonction intégré et les utilisateurs demandent comment enlevé cette option et non comment la mettre... En gros si tu as un bon HD, laisse le roulé, même chose qu'un ordi quoi. Moi j'utilise un WD 2.5" USB de 500gig et tous roule super... j'ai une garantie de 3ans avec en plus... faque je suis safe!

just installed rev 419 and also just got a new sd card and usb loader can actually save configs to it now! old one would read covers and stuff but wouldn't save configs... sweet... plus all the code dumps i was having seem to be gone in this verison, i like it a lot... only thing that was kind of weird is when you go to the mp3 menu and then exit without actually doing anything the original wii music comes up instead of the custom music i chose... but since you shouldn't use the mp3 menu yet i can't fault anyone for that... although is there a switch or something you can use when compiling to leave out the mp3 menu for now? or forever

Haha, hahaha, I bet I know what it is.

There's a little "Lock" switch on the side of your SD card, make sure it's UNLOCKed. This lets you WRITE to it...

it gets them from http://www.theotherzone.com/wii/ (don't forget the last /)

but right now its note recommended to download covers via the loader because it has a bug since r410 and i couldnt find it yet. it will codedump as soon as you try to download something.

well i read the front page over and over watched the videos so now im gonna ask my question... anyone know why im getting code dumps when trying to download the box cover images and im getting code dumps when trying to install games from my disk to usb drive im using rev419

im a complete idiot i read a few posts above and got my answer sorry for the stupid question... i reverted back to rev409 and i can download covers and install games from disk. i dont know if your already aware of the issue with the newer revision that you cant install via disk
