You are working on the new pack : good , I want to know if you will includ the new dvdcover in High Def ( on www.theotherzone.com) ?

And , can you say me the good size for 3D cover for 16/9 mode because I try in 130x224 ( normal size for 16/9) but it doesn't work , 130 in not multiple of 4

Thank you

PS : somebody know how change the writing color of the game liste because I've a black background

current covers are 160x224. going from 4x3 to 16x9 is the same as multiplying your 4x3 X 4x3 (4² = 16, 3² = 9) so take your 160 and divide by 4/3 and you get 120. So try for 120x224.

(for those that care 120x224 is a ratio of 1:1.86666666667, which when divided by 4/3 give you 1:1.4, the same ratio as 160x224)

woohooo you math crack.can be right but dont you think we havent test it????? we have the same idea but we have test it on more then 10 widescreen tv´s and yes all pictures (also the covers but except the disk cover...) must be schrink by 20% at x
but t will come with our offivial Widesreen theme ;-)

yep, i know everyone has tested it. And i think i know why it looks funny. For my own widescreen 122 would be the closest to the real ratio for the cover insert. The problem lies in that still looks too thin by about 8 pixels. Well here is where those 8 pixels come from. The case is 7.5 inches tall, but the insert is 7 inches tall. so our 224 pixel image represents 7 inches. If you add the slight plastic border you seen when loking at the real case that gives you 240 pixels. Thats 16 extra pixels for both the top and bottom. You have the same .25 inch border on the right edge as the top and bottom, so you need an 8 inch border on the right edge to make it match an actual box. However, the insert is flush with the left edge, so there is no 8 pixel border on that side. So for my screen, the ideal way for me to setup my covers would be to have 124x224 images (i round up from 122 because it actually works out to about 122.5) set on a 132x240 box. That looks a little funny because of it being flush left, but looks a lot better when you add in the "3d" spines. Of course we could just use your 3d boxarts, then aspect ratios dont really matter because you are not seeing the image straight on.

Now this is for my particular screen (42" ntsc 1920x1080 lcd) being displayed at 480p through component cables, other people's mileage may vary

And of course if all of this is stupid, feel free to ignore me =)

And why disc don't work?

what do you mean?

Sorry,
DVD covers image don't work.

I followed the instructions
"resolution of 160x160 and must be placed in SDRoot:/images/disc/"

Taking a look on the code, simple ID is used to get the dvd image name. This means, rename each PNG from six chars to three chars. Eg:

Guitar Hero Metallica: long ID=SXBP52, simple ID=SXB. So, dvd image file name has to be SXB.png. If you experience problems with covers, you can do the same.

Hope this helps.

Can someone please post the config.txt file...thanks.
Man,, if I see another one of these..... AHHHAHAHAHHHHHHHGGGG!

nothing personal yumms. But might I suggest that you people that want this config open up your "find" or "search text" in your browser and put in the little box "config" and then all you have to do is start clicking the previous page and then hit your little search button and if you dont find anything useful, click the next previous page and search again.... and again...

AND ENOUGH WITH THE QUOTING ALL THE DAYUM THEMES AND SCREENSHOTS... YOU CAN EDIT THE QUOTE.. PLEASE TAKE THE PICS/VIDEO OUT!!! a whole page with 3 or 4 quotes of god damned pics is bullshit!

Sorry for that all... Fucking shit!

EDIT) Actually,, you know what I do... I leave a browser open on this thread and when i come back to it, I start reading it from where I left off... Hell, its only 100 pages,, not too bad of a read. And if I want to close my browser, I have multiple tabs open in firefox so I save and close them...

Yes but the problem with that is this thread is 100 pages long, and the config file isn't posted is in the first post. So I had two options...click on 100 pages or ask for the file. I chose to ask for the file.

Thanks for trying to help though.

This loader is nice, thanks to all involved.

@MAFIA

Is it safe to assume that is a forwarding channel? I was just going to ask for one
