ok that worked fine for installing the games but now i have a new problem.

none of the cover art for the games i just installed is showing up. the game IDs all match.
what could be causing this problem?

you have to manually download and place the box cover arts and disc image into sd:/images/ (for cover art) and sd:/images/disc/ (for disc image).
read the first posting for the same direction and where to find the images.

My cover arts even when resized to 160 by 160 show a bunch of glitches at the bottom of the image.

Has this happened to anyone in the thread?

My DVDs show up fine, the cover images do not.

can someone post me the link to r 112 that was the only one that was working nice for me with auto cover download
thanks in advance

Put in the root of sd, a txt file named config.txt

In config.txt insert this string:

theme_path = SD:/images/ (if your folder with cover images is named "images")

In folder images (see up), put a txt file named theme.txt

Ok... now the loader view the cover dvd

Sorry for bad english

For more information see the wiki page at http://code.google.com/p/usbloader-gui/wiki/ThemeSettings

thanks but my problem was that i wanted the version with automatic cover download but i found it already i browsed trough my ie history and found the link to megaupload

New bug (atleast im experiencing this)

My brand of drive usually isnt detected right away and makes me have to unplug when i get the following msg then plug in
IF you get msg "no usb drive detected"
it doesnt display cover arts from sd when images in correct area / sizing.

the hdd needs some seconds, and then no images are displayed

i already have all of the covers and disc images on my SD card in the proper folders. i put those all on yesterday because i am going to be installing a bunch of games today. i got all of the images from theotherzone so i am assuming that they are already the right size. also, all of the disc art works.

here is a quick rundown of the games i have installed...

ALL disc art works.

MarioKart, ExciteBots, Blast Works - installed from PC cover art works

GHIII - installed from PC cover art DOESN'T work

Elebits, Super Paper Mario, WiiFit - installed from Wii cover art doesn't work.

it is really quite strange. i'll try all of you suggestions and then i'll check back in.

I thought I saw that we could put a custom image if we didnt have the disk cover? what do we name it?
I thought it was noimage.png?

The correct size for the cover arts is 160X224.

BlindDude, you are a lifesaver.

i used the link in your signature to download the properly sized covers and they all work.
why on earth are the covers on theotherzone the wrong size? is that just like the biggest oversight ever?

Hi all great loader so many updates everyday, like 16 million or something, my SD card spends more time out the Wii then in it. lol
But is great to see the progress your making and the effort you are putting in and I look forward to a release.
I have a few questions for you if you have the time.

1, Is it possible to enable/ disable adult games, like madworld for instance, by way of putting a 0 or 1 in the titles.txt file which won't show or play these games unless password is entered?. This would be a great feature.

2, when WiiShizzzer has done the widescreen support will you have us 60hz pal users with a higher pixel count of 680 x 520 support or will we have to adjust our config and create themes?.

Regards and keep up the great work:)

Squeeze me?.
Can you elaborate for the stupid please;)
I assume I can get it on wiibrew......OK thanks checked it:)

How about adding some BitTorrent functionality as well

So we can all share games directly from the Wii - all trough the WBFS

Something like BTUSBLoaderConnect24

I know the whole deal about no configs blah blah blah, but Im trying to implement a few themes but as of yet haven't even been able to get my original to work, can someone atleast tell me if my structure is right

loader is in SD/apps/guiloader/
theme (along with theme.txt) is in SD/Gu/
config in root points to Gu as theme directory
of course titles.txt is also in root

any ideas, thanks in advance for not flaming me BlindDude, I love you too.

Yes. Currently the parental control is done in config level and in titles.txt

Later we will add an option to unlock parental control when you unlock delete and install
