theme_path = SD:/apps/usbloader/theme/

or for 16:9

wtheme_path = SD:/apps/usbloader/theme/

you can move the buttons by looking at the theme.txt

have a play.

you can mod the background with 3d box, this was just a 1st shot at this and to make a template for people to just drop there images in.

now we want a thread with new backgrounds and buttons.

fixed stupid mistake

I've made a patch that re-enables downloading cover art in a less irritating way. I've re-synced my patch with the latest revision (r140). I'll keep updating it until it or something similar is committed.

So what do I do with the patch files? Do you need to tinker with the config.txt file at all with this patch?

Download the source code. cd to the folder with the Makefile. Run "patch -p1 < filename.patch". This will update the source code from r140 to match what's in my git. The png file will need to go in source/images. Run make and send the boot.dol to your wii.

I won't be making binaries as my intention is not to fork, but to get this included (or a similar fix) into the main code. Until it's included, I will periodically sync my patches with a current commit and upload new files to my media fire.

Could you direct me to a link where I can download the source for rev 140?

Edit: I just noticed that in the original release the "Force NTSC" doesnt show up, I fixed that in the menu.cpp changing

Is this a correct config?

is wbackground = background.png required here? if so, do I rename background.png to wbackground.png ?

@adam_the_1st one thing i noticed about your mod and graphics is that when scrolling up and down the background is solid but on the original it flickers on my wii and i see text bleed through as if loading the cover art.

theme path goes in config.txt

don't need background setting, if pointing to a widescreen theem folder the background.png will be widescreen optimised (if you created or downloaded one)

Are you talking to me? No, it does not, and the patch doesn't apply cleanly to the latest commits. I'll merge the latest changes in and repost it. I've e-mailed some of the devs and posted a link to my media fire in the relevant issue (#25). I don't have svn access, so there really isn't much more I can do.

This is a rather active project and menu.cpp is way too big, so while it's a pain in the ass, I'll update this patch and any others I make at least once a day.

The correct size for the cover arts is 160X224.

It's that big of a bitch even by just a point difference? The default were 160x225.

i remember some reports about first rows get garbled?

I noticed this also, started after game nr 171 was added to the disc.

I have now 173 on it and first 3 rows are mixed with the last 3 titles of the list.

Here is a USB Loader GUI r142 WAD that is tweaked a little.
Changes:
New and better Menu music.
Changed lock password for childproof options from AB121B to ab121b
Removed the button to return to the HBC, now it only has Wii Menu and Back.
Changed the default video setting from Disc Default to System Default.
Implemented the mod of adam_the_1st' gui mod as a theme.

I checked this one today. Whats not working is Force Pal to 50HZ. But this works with the Ultimate Loader last Version. So Japanese and US Games that need Force 50HZ don`t work on my Pal Wii with this loader. (Tested em with Ultimate Shooting Collection US , Karous Jap)
NTSC Games that need Force 60HZ all worked.

I also miss save config for each game like the ultimate loader does? Will it also added soon?

Will there be automatic Cover and Label Downloads in one of the next versions?

Also hope the memory problem (crashes) will be soon fixed

This one look better with the Gui but the Ultimate one still works better.
