em i did not say anything bad about it, it is what i use and i love it. I just thought the 7.4 counted as a gui as it was not a command line but i stand corrected.

Cheers
sry that i was a bit rash on you. i didn't want to sound mean but it's kinda heavy stress to keep everything together here

... don't take it personal

Btw. didn't know now who mentioned it... but disk spinning should be fine... just the speedup and slowdown lvl increased just a bit.

Sorg has released UniLoader 0.55
Just want to share what i created for myself.

UniiLoader is universal loader of backups. It can load games from USB storage, SD/SDHC and directly from DVD drive. With patched IOS (trucha signature), you can load originals and backups from DVD without modchip (Something similar to SoftChip).

Since i already have preloader already some time, i could make UniiLoader compatible with it. So, preloader can be configured to autoload boot.dol of UniiLoader at startup.

UniiLoader has graphic user interface based on libwiigui, so people can enjoy big and easy readable text and full WiiMote support.

Probably one of most asked feature - Covers is missing. Probably. i will add support for it later. Actually, i don't need covers at all. Especially that will require SD card in slot and thus not convenient.

So main features:
- Loading from USB drives
- Loading from SD/SDHC (useful for tests before put game to USB drive)
- Load backup and original DVD from same and other regions without hardware modchips.
- Add/Remove games to/from USB/SD
- Rename game title directly on Wii
- Language setting (autopatch on loading)
- Video mode setting (autopatch on loading if required)
- 002 error autopatch.

perhaps this features could be added to this loader as well so we can use this instead of wii system meny.

We all have the other things with this GUI and/or the Ultimate loader...SDHC is from Wanin (and pretty useless and not that important, in my opinion). The only pretty new thing that was integrated is the DVD-Support, not more...

Why this loader doesn't mount my 8 Go USB key, while other (http://gbatemp.net/index.php?showtopic=147085 for exemple) do without any problem ??

neorame, thanks for the reply... i apologize for the confusion. this is what i meant below:

is it possible to get ntsc and ntsc-j covers without the triangle cut on the spine... that would be awesome
smile.gif

But what if some ppl have more than 20 games on their list. For example browse by cover through 120 games would be a pain in the ass
smile.gif
because you can only see maybe the next 3 covers and you don't know which position the desired game is on

As long as it's fast... you'd get used to where everything is, and which ones you play the most..

LOL!
You're really complaining about the triangle ?

-Just wanna say, a widescreen theme is on it's way.
When some more work is done on the theme customization, you can easily
switch themes with the loader.

Also I need to thank all the project members for their good and fast work!

oh i see, it is possible but i take a minute. i can do it later at home. btw have the nstc and nstc-J covers other colors? if yes which? i will keep so originaly as possible..

thanks neorame... that would be awesome. i dont think there are any colors at all in the ntsc and ntsc-j covers. from all the games i own they all seem to just have a plain white spine. i think mainly pal games have the cut like that.

A little request.

Can you implement a switch to select the USB port (1 or 2) for load HD device?

There is one already. Sort of.

Plug your HDD to the bottom port.
Then plug your USB stick to the top port and start the loader, you will see the games on the stick only. Unplug the stick and you see the games on the HDD
Works like that for me at least.

Hi,
first of all I want to thank all developers and testers for the great work on this excellent (by far the best) loader!

I don't know if libwiigui permits graphic manipulation, but it will be great to render covers in 3d style on the fly instead of downloading a new pack...
So it would be possible to have an option to switch from 2d to 3d covers using the same png files.

Just another question: is it possible to store covers and disc images on wbfs drive instead of using the sd?

Cheers
Luca
