well well well, it's time to dust off my wii to update it. then let it dust again (but with the latest udapte)
I like this UI very much. But can you expand more space for game banners by minimize config and WII button ?tabmod is only a graphic mod to add three tabs to quickly enable/disable types of games (hardcoded, no option). So it doesn't touch anything related to the configuration file. So, yes, it is compatible.
Thanks for the replies. For the language ive just forced spanish in global and for the japanese games i configure them to japanese individually. For the led im gonna have to physically unconnect it xd. It just kinda bothers me.Some games won't work if they don't support your system's language, so to maximise compatibility the loader will select a compatible language. This feature was added in USB Loader GX r1280.
That's a d2x cIOS "feature" that can't currently be controlled. But you'll see the LED every time the cIOS is writing to your EmuNAND.
Sometimes things like this can occur because of how things land in memory. So when I've got some more time this week, I'll see if I can find any potential issues.
There should be a dark version eventually.A dark theme would be awesome. The new theme looks amazing, but blinds me at night![]()
I won't say that it can't be done, but making the buttons cycle dynamic would complicate things due to the filters that are already applied for favourites, categories, and search results. And it does all of this while maintaining compatibility with old themes that work in a different way.Would it be possible to disable some of the new content filters? Talking about the button on the bottom right that allows you to switch betwee Wii, Gamecube, Real NAND and EmuNAND. It would be pretty cool if we could enable/disable some of these entries (I don't use real NAND for example).
Oops, that's an oversight on my part. But this is exactly why I wanted to release a public test versionIs it possible to disable the auto 4:3 pillarboxing when using this version? I actually use a vWii at 480P 4:3 and let my TV do the scaling. In this version, it automatically enables the vWii 4:3 mode, so now it looks extra narrow to me. Would be great if we could disable this behaviour through a setting/toggle.
What do your partitions look like? Could you share a screenshot from GParted (Linux) or something like MiniTool Partition Wizard if you use Windows. Avoid using Disk Management though, since that doesn't always show hidden partitions. My usb drive cant be initialized when loader uses cios 249 so i have to force it to use 58. The thing is that with 1281 i would first choose the fat 32 partition from the hard drive settings then change the loader ios to 58. In the new version i cant initialize fat 32 so the loader ios setting cant save.
Apparently the official adapter and the Mayflash adapter work correctly, but some other generic ones don't?Would it be possible to add GameCube adapter support for Wii U in navigating the loader UI?
This is a public test version and I haven't pushed my changes to Github yet, so there won't be any mods. But even when I do push my changes to GitHub the tab mod patches won't work correctly anymore due to all of the changes that I've made.Has anyone added the tab mod yet to this new version? I like the new UI however do miss the tabs at the top haha.
No. But the 480p fix and video width patches are compatible with more games now. Previously they might have caused some games to not work correctly. Are there any new deflicker settings in this new updated version?
Even if I like the new interface very much, I can see the added value of having a toggle or a single button per option (Wii iso/GameCube iso/NAND) to switch from Wii to GameCube or from Wii games to WiiWare (NAND/EmuNand) without having to cycle through all the options.Personally, I don't know why anyone would want to use tab mod with its janky layout and buttons all over the screen when the new update looks slick and basically does the same thing.
Yeah, I'm aware of this. The AI made some decent translations, but some of them are too long. So I'm either going to have to change how the menus work or copy some of the older translations. So it might be due to the name of the parameters being too long in French.
But tab mod proven that it can't really be done that way, since there isn't enough screen space to do it without buttons overlapping. And it looks even worse if you use 4:3 or if your TV overscans.I can see the added value of having a toggle or a single button per option (Wii iso/GameCube iso/NAND) to switch from Wii to GameCube or from Wii games to WiiWare (NAND/EmuNand) without having to cycle through all the options.
If you need help for the French one, I can have a look at it and submit a new version in a few days. What is the maximum number of characters per parameter?Yeah, I'm aware of this. Indeed tabs are taking too much space. Maybe three small additional icons (Wii/GameCube/WiiWare) near (or instead of) the install title and launch disc ones could be a solution. But the new interface is already great and you cannot embark everybody wishes, otherwise it will be a mess! But tab mod proven that it can't really be done that way, since there isn't enough screen space to do it without buttons overlapping. I edited my message probably while you were already busy responding, so I am not sure you saw this remark. On top of it, I tried to access the Wii parameters by going through the USB Loader GX homebrew launcher menu, then the Wii icon and finally the Wii Settings at the bottom of the list. But it just restarted USB Loader GX (probably because I have Priiloader configured to autoboot on it). In the previous version of the loader, the homescreen button to go to the Wii menu was working even with this Priiloader setup.I can't find a button to go to the Wii System Menu: has it been removed? Would it be possible to add it as an option in the shutdown menu? I can be convenient to pair new Wiimotes for instance!
Hey. Is there a way to fix the problem where the emuNand channels don't show any artwork?
Most of the games seem to work, just no artwork.
I tried to download everthing for them and I was getting an error. Maybe I only need to set it to banners for the emuNand games. I assume they have no cover art.Have you tried to download the missing banners? You can do it by pressing 1 on your Wiimote (you need to be connected to internet) or via the Update menu in the settings.
It works the same way as the Wii's system menu or when you're in a game now. So you just press the home/pause button on your controller.I can't find a button to go to the Wii System Menu: has it been removed? Would it be possible to add it as an option in the shutdown menu? I'm just going to increase the width of the settings menu a little and make anything that's too large scroll when selected. If you need help for the French one, I can have a look at it and submit a new version in a few days. What is the maximum number of characters per parameter?
If you're using the test version of r1282 with it's default settings then it should work, assuming these are official channels/WiiWare/VC.Hey. Is there a way to fix the problem where the emuNand channels don't show any artwork?

Select a game and go toIs there a way to delete channels? I have a few games that don't work and I might as well delete them.
Settings > Uninstall Menu.Make sure your consoles date and time are correct. Also, I tried using the 1282 version but its tells me to install the stable version so i went back to 1281.
Does anyone have these issues?
Changing the date did the trick thank you.It works the same way as the Wii's system menu or when you're in a game now. So you just press the home/pause button on your controller.

I can't give you an exact character count, since it seems like it uses pixels and that can vary from letter to letter.

Select a game and go toSettings>Uninstall Menu.

You might need to reinstall the games to the EmuNAND if you originally installed them with a previous version of the loader. Failure to do that might result in some of them not working due to missing shared content.
(Game runs fine with this IOS)I’ve got the official adapter and it’s not responding. What would be the right Loader settings / IOS to use? I’ve got the newest d2x installed to the slots recommending in the OP.Apparently the official adapter and the Mayflash adapter work correctly, but some other generic ones don't?
Support for other adapters can sometimes be added, but that requires developers like myself to buy them.
