when you click on your game and the spinning disc pops up, click the little settings button in the lower left of that box. select Game Load. scroll down to 002fix and set it to ON.

Another question: when I try to load "Medal of Honor 2", the screen freezes. Is there a cure for that too?

MoH:2 requires altdol.

Just go into the game's settings (like the last game) and go down to Alt Dol. Set it to Select a Dol. Click on the line below that and select Use The Dol That is Known to Work or whatever it says.

Some games that require AltDol:
Metroid Prime Trilogy
RedSteel
SSX Blur
Medal of Honor Heroes 2
Mortal Kombat Armageddon
House of the Dead 2 & 3 (or you can just use cIOS 222 and set IOS Reload Block to ON)
Indiana Jones and the Staff of Kings (only to play Fate of Atlantis)
Wii Sports Resort (select player.dol from list first time playing the game. hard shutdown after game crashes. load with alt dol set to default from there on out)

When i load a game it plays fine but if i were to go back to to the system menu then back to gx and load up another game i just get a black screen and i have to reset the wii. it doesnt matter what game i do it with the outcome is always the same.

Is anyone else gettin this and is there a fix for this or is it just my wii messin somet up?

do you have cIOS 249 rev 13 installed? make sure you have rev 14 installed.

Edit : Nvm been reading up on all wii hacking related stuff and worked out how to do it, thnx anyways al do it tomoz and see if it fixes it

So I don't know if this is a new thing, but after downloading the newest USB Loader GX I can't download boxart anymore. It will check the server but keeps saying boxart is missing for every game even a big name game like mario kart.

Is there any way i can fix this?

Which revision are you on (please don't just type "the newest"

)? If you updated from a ways back, delete your gxglobal.cfg and gxgamesettings.cfg files from your config folder on your SD/USB.

I just added a new theme to my external hard drive to use with GX but now when i point to that theme inside the loader it will not load it at all and it just loads the default theme.I tried switching back to the theme i was using previously and it did the same thing.

The theme i was using was White II Rev6 and it will not load.Right before i tried this i was using White II Rev4 and it worked just fine.After unsucessfully loading Rev6 i tried loading Rev4 and it did the same thing Rev6 was doing and not loading the theme.I did the sd card refresh button and it still didn't fix it.I even updated the loader itself to R814 and that didn't do any good either.I then switched to a different theme other then White II and it worked just fine but then trying to go back to White II again it would not load.

I'm going to delete all my config files and see if that does anything but is there something else that could be causing this issue?

hi all, i just updated gx to rev 811 using the network update 2 days back

but after updating i notice from time to time about ?1hr interval there will be a flickering on my tv screen, like for 1 sec it will turn to black and flicker back to normal

i never had this problem while on rev 749, anybody had this issue as well?

I noticed this when I was originally testing feature and finally decided to sit down and debug it after reading you comment. This is a result of the File Browser not being able to properly save paths with long names. If you rename the folders to something shorter like SD: /config/themes/white/white/ you should have a much better of loading it until a fix is released. I've already submitted the issue and my debug info to the coders.

Old8oy, I followed the instructions and loaded the Dol that is known to work. This time it goes further and I can start a game, but the screen feezes again even before I fired one shot. There's also a screeching sound when the screen freezes. I have to reboot Wii afterward. Any suggestions?

Make sure you are on rev814. There were a couple of revs in that past that had bugged game installations.

I can confirm that I'm on r814, what could be wrong? It recognises the disc as being Guitar Hero 5, so I think the disc is ok right?
