@CheatFreak47 Can you see if this works now with JD2016?

Does it work if you load it straight through Nintendont? Do other non-modded Gamecube games work?

Well XGXD01 is not a valid Gamecube title ID. It could be the loader is misinterpreting the region and launching it improperly.

Normally Gamecube games are "GxxRyy" where G indicates it's a retail Gamecube title, xx is the title code, R is the region (E, P, J) and yy is the publisher code. You could try changing it to "GX2E01" and see if it works. It doesn't look like that ID was ever issued.

Hi. Well, not all gamecube games start out with G, right? also, i understand what your saying, that the gamecube identifier isn't recognized, but thanks! i will try this and let you know if it works! thanks for being so active and responsive @GreyWolf ! i highly appreciate it!

It's more likely the region code would confuse GX than the console code.
right! thanks man! i will try it out in a few and let you know my progress! if it works, than you're the best and i will upload the artwork to gametdb! thanks again! it's because of people like you that i'm in the modding scene!

Streamline for 3.1.1.1278 is posted to fix issues that require an IOS reload. Note this is still not an official ULGX release. (link)

Updates are still disabled.

I've wandered across a problem that seems to be somewhat widespread, that from what I've found doesn't appear to have an obvious solution. I've been using USB Loader GX to run my gamecube backups off my usb for a little while, and its' worked perfectly. No problems there.

However, I recently decided to install a cios in the hope of being able to run Wii backups. I used the d2x cIOS installer to install a cIOS at slot 249 (previously a stub), base 56, with the latest d2x. The installation went smoothly, and USB Loader GX detected the cIOS and booted normally, until it had to initialize the HDD (I assume thats' the USB). It timed out, and couldn't see any of the USBs' contents. Theres' nothing wrong with the USB itself, I can still load homebrew off of it with the homebrew channel, only USB Loader GX is affected.

I have noticed that the Homebrew Channel and USB Loader GX before the cIOS install used IOS 58, not 56 or 57, which are the two IOS bases I used. Should I try replacing one with a cIOS based around IOS 58? I'm still relatively new to IOS modification, so I'm not sure what affect that might have.

Edit: the second cIOS is based on IOS 57 at slot 250. I forgot to mention that. The only other IOS mod I have is BootMii as IOS, but that doesn't seem to have affected much (I installed it alongside the Homebrew Channel.)

Edit2: I decided to try installing a cIOS based on IOS 58, this caused it to not hang on the "initializing HDD" part, but it still failed to read the USB properly. Replacing both cIOSs' with the original stubs with a system update fixed everything; USB Loader GX uses IOS 58 and can read the USB just fine. How can I gain the ability to use Wii game backups without losing access to my USB? It's the only one I own big enough to hold Wii and GameCube games.

Hello, guys!

i get this black screen error on my wii:

“Wii system memory has been damaged. refer to the wii operations for further instructions”
while playing Mario kart 64 (VC). using USB Loader GX (DumpNand/Neek) on USB

i used the option Dump nand on USB Loader and installed alot of wad games on it. everything works perfectly with USB loader. but idk if i did something wrong to get that error. or if its better to not run wad games like that. (as my friend of another site told me to not run wads on a emunand).

follow my USB Loader settings:

Nand Saves emulation is set as "OFF"
Nand Channel emulation is set as "Neek"
NEEK2O channel WAD is installed

could someone help me plz??

So, I am having problems again. More specifically, Metroid Prime Triology (to be specific the Corruption one) and Metroid Prime Corruption (individual game different from it's trilogy version)

The former crashes on loading and the latter while it runs, it crashes on Norion. After one gets the grapple upgrade, opens the door and kills the enemies in the next room and jumping onto the platform where the pirate was. What happens is that the game crashes and samus keeps walking around.

Bumping because I'd like to be able to play the games again.

USBloader GX revision is 3.0 r1262.

I am attempting to run Trilogy and the stand alone version of Corruption with IOS 249. I also don't have a game in the drive if that helps.
