Hacking USB Loader GX keeps asking to update?

Iv'e did a fresh install and wiped all settings, and it still asks to update every time i load it, it's since the last update 17hrs or so ago. Why is there no turn updates off setting? the parental control's block updates is close to useless.

There is an auto init network setting. Set it to not initialise network and it won't check for updates
