Hi, I'm discovering the joys of owning a Wii in the year of 2026. Better late than never. Been playing the NTSC Virtual Console version of Star Fox 64 a bunch, and there's this annoying audio distortion that's hard to ignore throughout the game, like the audio is crackling. It's most noticable in the end credits. This video I found on youtube shows it off as well, so I know the issue isn't just on my end: (45:56 in case the timestamp doesn't work) I was surprised how nobody online seems to have discussed this over the years. Has anyone else noticed this or similar issues on other n64 VC releases? Is the cause known? Out of curiosity, I did try the PAL Lylat Wars release, and the audio was perfectly fine in that one.

Known bugs: - Toggling the sound OFF hangs the emulator. - Saves are not working. SD will be prioritized. - When you launch the emulator from USB, and there is a SD card inserted without the Z-GX folder structure present, it will DSI crash. - 12 seconds pause before the game starts booting, affects build 20260811B. - Cover files do not load when you start the emulator from a USB device, yet it will load them if a SD card with the files is inserted before emulator launch. Hacking USB Loader GX Help White Screen

So i dont have a SD card and i installed homebrew using flashax
I've downloaded the cIOSes, but USB Loader GX isn't working
All it shows is a white screen with the gray covers. I can still use the Wii Mouse, but i can't do anything
My Wii version is 4.3E(PAL), if that matters
I have to hold the power button of my wii every time i open usb loader gx

Everyting is being loaded from a 8GB Flash USB 2.0 Drive, formatted with FAT32
Any help is aperciatted

Hello,

May be a problem of USB keys, do not use USB keys, they work badly or not with the wii .D'ou the black or white screen.

Prefer an external hard drive for better connectivity.
