Hello,

I have the original Wii (NOT Wii U). I had games working via usb loader gx, however some games wouldn't load (ex. skyward sword and wii sports resort) and instead, launching them would bring me back to the wii homepage. So I decided to update to d2x v10 and download the latest version of USB loader GX. In d2x v10 I installed cIOS base : <56> cIOS slot : <249>, Select cIOS base : <57> cIOS slot : <250> and Select cIOS base : <58> cIOS slot : <251>.

Now when I launch USB loader, the program hangs at "initializing usb device" and therefore can't load any games! Any help is much appreciated! I use WBFS Manager 3.0 to add my games to a USB stick.

Problem solved:

installing d2x v10 b53 fixed the initialization error.

Zelda SS and Sports resort iirc require you to view the motion plus video before you can play them. In the GX game settings (after clicking the game from the GX main menu) change the dol load to player.dol and watch the boring ass motion plus video. After that, change it back to the default. Sorry the above instructions are kind of vague and the exact wording may be off, been years since i did it, but that was the fix.

Hello thank you for your report

I HAVE THE EXACT SAME PROBLEM and the same syscheck as you
but whatever i did i never succed in installing d2x v10 b53 even manually i always end up with d2x v10 b52; i use to lauch usbloader gx without the usb drive connected, it pass initialaizing usb device step and after start a countdown waitig for the usb device and there is when i connect my hdd
But it's really boring because i have to disconnect the hdd everytime i launch usbloader gx

PLEEEEASE tell me how did you do this! and please could you post your actual syscheck?
