Hacking usb loader gx green stripes glitch

I have tried very hard to google it and search on this site for it but i just can't seem to find my answer so i will ask.

My overall aim is to run Kirby's epic yarn NTSC on my Pal 4.2E wii.

I have been having issues running it on configurable usb loader, it froze at the loading screen for making a new game save file every time. I had a look at the topic for the release of the game and everyone why said that it was working was using USB loader GX so i downloaded it and gave it a try. With every game i try to run with it, it has a glitch up of something where green stripes are at the top or bottom of the screen. I tried running cIOS249 rev19 installer as recommended by the USB loader GX web page and the same problem is still there.

Does anyone know how to get USB loader GX running or alternatively, how to get Kirby's epic yarn working in any way. (also, i have one of the wiis with the new disc drive.)

Try using the latest version of cfg loader w/ "force PAL" video setting.

that didn't work on either of the 2 force PAL settings. One of them it still had the freze and the other the game just stayed on black screen

Check your Wii video setting. In Wii system settings.

I just happen to know that, when you have your Wii in 50Hz, and load games from usb in Progressive mode, you get green border/fucked up screen.

no, i'm running in 60hz and i'm not sure what progressive mode is. I had a look at the system settings and the usb loaders settings but couldn't find anything

edit: i found that if in 50hz, kirby doesn't even start up on configurable usb loader

Hmm Can you post a picture?

Did you try the VIDpatch option? Different loader?

Post a picture of what exactly? A frozen loading screen? Not much to see. Tried USB loader GX but none of my games run on that, all get weird green stripes and wiiflow won't work because of the type of drive partitioning i have and i can't use any dvd loaders because i have the new wii disk drive that can't read them.

Also, i can add that i tried installing cIOS 249 r19 with all possible base types and cIOS 249 r20 with base 57 (i think). None showed any change in any loader.

Please help quickly, i really want this working before christmas.

The difficulty is out of region games - some will not play (down to the TV more than anything)

I use GX and have the following settings
GX version 1012 (Beta version but seems very stable)
249 r20 Base56
250 r19 Base57

222 r4 Base 38
223 r4 Base 37 merged 38
224 r5 Base 57

Run the loader on 249 and apart from 2 games ( one is COD:BO use 224) all should play. Using the standard Wii 2 TV cable.

Kirby works fine on mine (4.2E), however without checking later I do not know if it is the US or E release, with a panasonic TV all out of region games work fine, with an LG many do not (my personal findings).

If all else fails try a different iso.

new news. I tried r1012 of USB loader GX and it actually loaded the game (with 002 error fix on) but it still froze at the first loading screen.

@Kittymat, i have no idea how to do all of that at all. I have no idea how to set up any cios's other than 249. Please let me know how to do it and let me know what i SHOULD NOT do more than anything. Also, i have a panasonic, but keep in mind that the game is starting, just not getting past the loading screen.

I hate ios 249

it has so many bugs when i used to play smg2 it used to freeze all the time

heres what you do:
google hermes 222 + uloader v4
install that via hombrew channel
then run your GX
go to network and update it
and set your games under option to run on 222 or 223

done they wont freeze anymore

note u need to have 249 installed to install 222.
