USB loader GX doesn't detect the wbfs files I put on it manually.

I have downloaded multiple games and put them in the "wbfs" folder on my USB drive and they all work but for some reason, when I put a Super Mario Galaxy WBFS on the drive it just won't detect it. I tried installing it from the legitimate game disc but when I get to the first cutscene the game crashes (I'm guessing this is because the disc is scratched because it does this when I just run the game disc as well) I have tested the WBFS with dolphin and it works fine.

How is the hard drive formatted?
Did you use Wii backup manager or similar program to put the games on the drive? They HAVE to be in this format.

    wbfs/Game Name [GAME ID]/GAMEID.wbfs/Game

    wbfs/Super Smash Bros Brawl [RSBE01]/RSBE01.wbfs

Run a syscheck and post it here

I have never used any programs to put wbfs files onto the drive I just put them in with windows explorer. This is what my file path looks like. upload_2019-1-5_20-12-55.
Every other game works except super mario galaxy.
I'll download syscheck and send back the results

So, first I would try using Wii Backup Manager so the formatting is correct.

    If that doesn't do it, I would change cIOS 249 & 250 to d2x-v10-beta52 revision 65535

so should I format the drive to wbfs? Right now it is FAT32 but it has other important files on it. Could I make a separate wbfs partition?

Leave the drive as Fat32. How big is the drive?

You can use the windows explorer to transfer games, like Illuminaticy said just change the folder names and they will work, you can also use the same HDD to play gamecube games with nintendont or even use it as a normal drive
