Hacking USB loader gx cannot find any games

I know it has been asked gazillion times before and I did check the forums, but still could not figure out what's wrong.

I have freshly installed USB loader gx which seems to work and can load the games from DVD. It can recognize my HDD connected via USB, however it cannot see any games on it. I tried formatting to WBFS and FAT32, I tried Wii backup manager and WBFS manager - nothing. I installed a game from DVD using USB loader gx itself - the installation went OK, WBFS manager could see the game on the HDD - but the USB loader gx couldn't!!!


What am I doing wrong?

Funny enough, ancient version of Neogamma can load the games...but fails to play them
