Can you make the forwarder dol compatible with preloader autoboot?
I'm still looking for a forwarder like that. But all the current ones crash when used in preloader.

Regarding the channel and forwarder DOL, it is still in building stage, we'll see how it develops. No release ETA yet.

I tested with 3D covers and it is better as they are smaller, you was right. If you can take the widescreen mode into account it would be very good.

I downloaded automatically the covers. Among 70 only one is missing:

RKTXUG Kidz Sport Football

Here is the cover but ntsc (I don't know why the code is ntsc while my game is pal !).

I tested briefly and all is working well. The interface is quite complicated with all options !

The loading is quite quicker than with my sd.

Nice! The game code is PAL ???P??, ???X?? and ???Z?? are all PAL games. Just ???E?? and ???J?? are NTSC games.

This loader is very very very promising ...

ideally it should be able to detect the maximum HDD integrating the detection time of 30s
already used by many loaders (such as USB loader GUI rxx)

..... and I believe that your loader will be great

...can I use my own 3D Covers for this, they all 160x224, and where must I copy all the 3D Covers ???
and can I use this loader on a WideScreen TV ?

Put them either in SD:\coperti\ folder or USB drive FAT:\coperti\ folder if you have a fat partition on it.

Widescreen correction is implemented and will be available in RC8.

But I wanna Copy my normal Covers and my 3d Covers. Can I put them in one folder together ?
 
I have made a forwarder dol for it featuring:

- no codedump if accessories are connected to wiimote
- it loads the dol file directly from the USB HDD.
- this way I will be able to also provide online updates to the loader.

All that is now needed is an mega uber sexy channel!
The nicest looking channel will get in the official release!

I am waiting for your creations

WOW this usbLoader would dooo nice if it read the iso's on the usbHD and grabbed the banners from the games themselves like the DiskChannel does ...instead of grabbing covers it reads the drive on startup and tosses up the banners for each game on the usbHD

I want to test it with preloader's autoboot.

also, what has updating to do with it? does the forwarder itself look for the updates or does the loader itself handle the update stuff?

Not yet possible to display banners in homebrew.

Not 100% working with preloader yet. Suitable just for channels.

for RC7 yes, just issue in a command prompt

or wait a little bit until a nice channel is found because RC8 uses a separate folder and it will be easyer to manage.

storage:\gui-fx\3dcovers for 3D covers
 
Hi maddoc and all the involved.
first of all , this is the best piece of work i've seen so far in the usb-loader gui scene. not too fancy , but doing the job perfectly.

well , except i cant lauch twilight princess PAL (I have a pal wii).
the game freezes right on the strap screen , sometimes even beforehand.
The iso is fine , as i can still launch it thru other loaders with default settings (no foce/patch etc.).

any known issue / solution for this. ?

it does that from the first alpha release.

One of my HDD is not detected by the USB Loader GUI-FX

maybe, this comes from the choice of usb loader.

None that I know of, will test and report back.

Actually I am still waiting for a nice channel but will release it with the above posted pictures by me.
At least that way it just takes up only 9 slots.

Your drive will work 100% with RC8, the solution was missing in RC6 and RC7, sorry.
