maddoc said:I usually do graphics but seeing that nobody is tackling a new GUI for the USB Loader I started to fool around.
This is what I got so far:
Please understand that this is still in menu development stage!
There is no working USB Loader with this menu layout.
You can test just the menu layout (extract the contents to SD).

Due to limitations, game covers must be precisely 160x224px, Kosaic, I hope that you don't get mad at mewe have to scale your pack 1px less in width.
Future updates will be posted here.
This topic is welcome for suggestions and covers.
Edit:
This is how it looks now:
Link to source and compiled dol: http://ul.to/14yf6w
It browses through games but doesn't start them.
I am starting all over and ditching the old source.
Expect a better and working GUI in the next few days!

This is with per game backgrounds again. I were also thinking of maybe a splash screen during the initialization (is it spelled like that?) of USB device.
Mind you, the book is very small print... Bah.
Edit: Oh my, I misspelled Twilight... Twlight..

It loads the game selected with pointer (star) and by pressing A.

What library did you use to make it zoom GRRLIB?
I think it's 2 different sized images being loaded as what other loaders are doing, I could be wrong.
But honestly, although I know this is still in it's early stages of development, there is a lot missing from it to make it have that "wii" feeling. No + or - icons to show for next page, it does not actually zoom the image so it makes it look choppy on the transition from small to large, and the large sized image is a bit overbearing on the screen, just a little too big.
it uses grrlib, the loading of big images takes precious time and space on sd.
I am sure you do better than this!
