i didnt realise that the 4th character in the game code was the region

Yeah mate they do we have E, J, P
but i have these PAL games with different 4th letters

WALL-E RWAU78

DE BLOB R6BX78

SPONGEBOB - GLOBS OF DOOM RUSY78

all discs are dumps from retail discs, im in the uk so im pal and no mention on wiibrew database, mmmm

ASCII Hex Region
A 41 All regions. System channels like the Mii channel use it.
D 44 German-speaking regions. Only if separate versions exist, e.g. Zelda: A Link to the Past
E 45 USA and other NTSC regions except Japan
F 46 French-speaking regions. Only if separate versions exist, e.g. Zelda: A Link to the Past.
J 4A Japan
K 4B Korea
L 4C PAL/World?
P 50 Europe, Australia and other PAL regions
Q 51 Korea with Japanese language.
T 54 Korea with English language.
X 58 Not a real region code. Homebrew Channel uses it, though.

I have a PAL copy of Need for speed Undercover that has an Y for the 4th character (RX9Y69). Those damn PAL games need to tighten up and fly straight.

That code list is really handy - thanks a million for that - again i hadnt really looked into the region thing but that explains a lot and might be helpful for both the USB coders and for myself so thanks.
I really havent a clue what the U was - u seem to know a lot more about the codes than i do so im the wrong person to answer

Yeah - thats another confusing one, looks like the regions arent as solid as we first thought so maybe its best to just do it all by the codes/region system we have now ?

seems like we need to look into this a bit more but it only seems it is PAL games that have the 4th letter change

I can get the site to highlight the 4th letter in red if its not the normal P that we usually see and it might shed some light on things ?
I got a zip of french files but i think they are all P as well , so im not sure if the codes are incorrect or if he just took the stand pal codes and replaced the covers.

Make a extra page where people could submit there game ID if the 4th code was different to the usual E P J and then just copy the cover from a usual one and change the ID and this way we would have a databse of unusual changes

Wont work because then the loader that are being coded to auto download a game ID wont know where to look

I added in a 'Recent additions' to the main page with the last 5 added covers to the list - might help people when they put in requests.

And guys doing the covers - your amazingly fast , well done i was trying to do one or 2 today and they were there before i got a chance - im impressed

Kororinpa Marble Saga (RK6E18) is showing on the site as a duplicate of Kororinpa Marble Mania.

I found a correct picture and cropped it to be the proper size but because it already exists I can't upload.
