just run the game through the disc channel.

buuuuuuuuut it still doesn't work here...tried with usb loader & neogamma(for the original disc)

Block disk updates with preloader or starpatch to clear the update from the disk channel.

You already installed IOS58.

You should now be able to play the original game via the disk channel.

wait until the database is updated

ah I see there is an "Update Database" under the Database section, so I'll have to wait till it's updated, thanks for the help

thx a lot for all your help! The game works fine after I used startpatch.

And what a tiring game wow. Absolutely not comparable to wii fit, this is a real fitness workout!

Correct. USB Loaders and Neogamma launch games from Custom IOS (249 or 222 or 223) not 58. So even if you installed IOS58 the loaders would still use Cios to launch the game. I'm guessing you got the Camera error message.

You would have to play the game from the original disk through the disk channel or a backup with a Mod Chip as there is no Cios58 in CiosCorp 3.5

I guess an alt-dol wouldnt' work in this situation?

I'm mostly curious if I can get Your Shape to work via another usb camera I have. Since there are multiple things going on, I'm not sure if it's not detecting the camera because it's not supported or if it's not loading properly. I'm still on system 3.4 maybe I should just bite the bullet and do a system upgrade? I can't load the game via my very very old wiikey since it always gives a 002 error.

I tried loading it via GeckoOS, and I believe it actually downloaded and installed IOS58. But it still gives me the camera error, on top of the other problem that I can't force NTSC mode.

Ok I got Your Shape to work by installing IOS58. I ripped the game with Superdump and opened it up with Wiiscrubber. I wrote down all the IOS files and version numbers and checked them with dop-IOS MOD v9. I compared the version numbers on the disk with what I had installed on the Wii. dop-IOS mod didn't even have an option for IOS58 and it is not in the database in NUSD 1.3. So extracted the IOS58 from the rip , placed on SD card and installed with Wad Manager.

Bingo. Your Shape now runs fine (origional disk) from the disk channel. It loads the camera and works great now.

I'm guessing IOS 58 is a new IOS that works with the USB Camera. Your Shape runs from this new IOS.

I have not tried with USB Loader GX yet but I am guessing it will not work as there is something in IOS58 that drives the USB Camera.

What did you extract? I ripped Your Shape using USB Loader GX and WBFS. When I loaded the ISO using wiiscrubber I couldn't even find a single IOS file or wad.

because the update partition would of been scrubbed when it was ripped, simple rerip it but change the global setting to all partitions or 1:1 copy

What's the best way to rip this? Can the global settings be set in USB Loader GX for ripping?

yes, in GX go to Global Settings - GUI Settings and just change the Install game setting from game partition only to all, im not sure what it says as i have got access to the wii right now

Awesome!!!!!!! This is what I have been searching for all day. I am currently ripping the game 1:1 now. Thank you for all your help. I'll let you know how things turn out. Hopefully I won't have any other delays with this camera and the ios for it.

P.S. There has been an update to USB Loader GX recently. NTFS support and the games all play their start up sound before loading.

yes i know im at R874

Finally!

I ripped the ISO 1:1 using USB Loader GX. Extracted it in WBFS and loaded it in wiiscrubber. I was able to find IOS58-64 v5918 with no problem and extracted it. Installed it using wad manager 1.4 and everything works great. The only other problem I had is that the camera can't be connected until the system is booted up first. As of now it works using the disk channel with the original disk.

I'll check the Loader GX portion of this tomorrow, but from what I've read it only works with the original disk.

Thank you for all your help. I can finally get some sleep.
