I've created a logical partition on my 1To to backup a Mac Book Pro HDD, but when I tried to format that partition in OSX, my hard drive 'lost' all his files (I had some error telling me that the operation failed and then my HD was empty and in RAW filesystem). I don't think it has been formatted since the operation failed and the file system is RAW, but is there some way to have my files back ?

Man, that's no a very useful post :/ And for information, I found a solution. I'm using TestDisk to restore my partition table (already 2 partition of 3 found) then I'll use some file restoring software if necessary. I'll see if that format just damaged my partition table.
