Hacking USB gecko question

Can anyone tell me how to back up a gamesave with a USB gecko?

Why not use the Save Extractor and Save Installer. I think Waninkoko made those.

yea i use those but i just got my usb gecko and i know it makes things a lot faster and I am pretty sure you can do it just need to figure it out.
