Gaming USA iso on EUR PSP?

Sorry if this is a noobish question but can you play an USA ISO on a EUR PSP?

Yes, PSP games are region free, but UMD movies aren't.

Don't see why not. If your PSP is hacked, then it should be region free. UMD's may not be region free thought.
