Hacking URGENT: DS may be dead

I did the same thing with my power switch, on not one but TWO ds's, at the same time. I had to solder the piece back on, and let me tell you its not a fun piece to solder. As of now I always tape the sliders in place.

It's been a while since you posted, did you get it fixed?
