hey can you english patch ps vita version sanda maru (sprit of sanada) with the ps3 translation english patch how do you english patch a game

I've been following the progress on this for a while, but hadn't yet tried the game... I've been playing it for a little while now (without froid_sans patch) and am really enjoying it - so, I'm now even more excited for this new patch!
Will you be sticking with the Maidump format (as per froid_sans menu patch) or will it work with nonpdrm dumps? I've been unable to get the mai version to work (followed all the various instructions froid gave on his project page - which results in the game crashing whenever I do anything after loading the save file, as well as a pre patched maidump of the whole game I found somewhere that says is corrupt whenever I launch it).
Also, are you translating the original Japanese release or working from the Chinese subbed Asia release?
Anyway, rambled a bit there... essentially just wanted to wish the team all the best with this project and show my appreciation!

We will be moving to nonpdrm dumps + repatch plugin, but since the game does not use eboot modification there's no problem using the English patch for maidumps if people prefer that.

Wow, story translation, never saw that coming. Dis gut, since game is quite dynamic and original, which pretty much all good beat em up need.

Good, we do.

Thanks for all of that - but mostly for the repatch tip-off... I'd been led to believe that repatch wasn't working on +3.65 systems so hadn't tried that as an option to get the "dirty" patch working, but after some investigation (prompted by your post) I discovered rePatch reDux0 and now have the "dirty" patch working with a nonpdrm dump of the game!
If you need any play testers be sure to hit me up, as I'm now restarting the game with the added help of the partial translation... but a more in depth translation can't come soon enough!

It was just announced a remastered version is going to come out in English on PS4 and PC, will this have any impact on the translation?

The project is almost done... so no point on stopping now :)

Awesome! I'm near the end of chapter 2 (using your 'dirty' patch), and I fully intend to finish my playthrough on the Vita. The official release for PS4 just gives me the opportunity to buy and support a title I'm thoroughly enjoying... and will probably play through it again ^_^

The project is finished! Aside from minor tweaks and fixes, it is out there and ready to be played. Thank you all for your support. The team really appreciates it.
Awesome! Many thanks to all involved!
Want to give us a hint where to find it? I'm just finding froidsans original 'dirty' patch in my searches.

Ignore that - I found the hint in the OP and am downloading it now :D

Only NPS ver gonna fit?

UPD Mai ver works as well. Just copy and overwrite, you gonna save some space that way.

I've spent some time with it now, and it's a very impressive, professional, job.
As I'd already progressed about 20% into the game (both without a patch, and latterly with the 'dirty' patch), I haven't restarted from scratch, but I did replay through the entire (already completed) first chapter with the new translation and noticed no issues. The expected slowdown was a bit more severe than I'd anticipated, but overclocking with the VSH plugin fixed that (at the expense of increased battery drain).
Which are the files for the patched intro movie? If it's not going to impact anything else I'd like to remove them to 'lighten' the overall patch data. Has the intro song also been changed? I didn't remember it being in English previously (but could just be my memory failing me).
