HELP
My top screen isn't working anymore,
My old 3ds turn on, lower screen is just normal, i can access the menu but nothing on top screen, just black.

I checked the flat cables and looks normal, Any tips??

Some more information would help identify whether this is a hardware or software problem.

Did this occur following an attempt at modifying your 3DS? Did you drop it or submerge it in water?

Have you tried turning it off and on again inspecting the top screen with the 3DS opened at varying angles? One of my DS Lites had a top screen that would only work at a specific angle. It was a ribbon cable problem.

If your system powers on we can definitely rule out disconnection (as this would cause it to immediately switch off again). Might be a simple case of unlatching it and pushing it further in before locking it in place again, or it might be a lot more complicated. Tell us as much as you can.

I already removed all the cables i could, even the top screen to check the flats, all seems normal.

The 3ds light on the side turn on, the sound its ok too, i think the only problem is direct to the top screen.

I'll buy a screen for replacement, but it will take at least 30 days to arrive from china.

There is only one flat cable for the top screen right? the same for power and image, or there another one?

haha i literally just replacd my 3ds xl top screen all ribbons look fine and have a black screen

I suggest having an experienced person install the screen for you. One wrong move and you'll tear the new cable.

Good luck replacing the screen. Its a pain to get the ribbons through the hinge. It took me literally hours to do.

Yeah it was My first time. I didnt want to roll them too much and rip them. I also mixed the cables and the top screen cable ended up in the wrong place.
