Gaming Upgrading from CFW 5.00 M33-6

Hi,

My PSP was gathering serious dust in a drawer and I decided to give it some long overdue love.

The console is a 2004 model, on CFW 5.00 M33-6, it's the fully hackable model afair.
The CFW guides seem to be as confusing as always so can anyone tip me off to what should I install to get up to speed? (if necessary at all)

I came across this: http://www.psp-hacks.com/2010/09/09/promet...0-m33-released/ and it seems like what I need, but there's people talking about ChickHEN R2, mhuspeed 3 and and 5.50 and whatnot and I have to say it's hard to determine what to get

Spoiler: How to update your PSP to the latest custom firmware

(This is optional but recommended if you don't want to patch your ISO's)
- (Fully hackable) 100X/200X -
- PC -
1. Download XGEN GEN D3 Updater. Place UPDATE in PSP/GAME and 550.PBP on the root of your memory stick
2. Download Prometheus-2 5.50 GEN-D Addon and place the Prometheus folder in PSP/GAME

- PSP -
1. Run and update to GEN D3 (Be careful what you press on, there is also an option that upgrades to OFW 5.50 and we don't want that!)
2. Run and update to Prometheus-2 and you're done!

- (Semi hackable) 200X/300X -
- PC -
1. Download Prometheus-2 5.03 GEN-C Addon. Place the Prometheus folder in PSP/GAME

- PSP -
1. Run and update to Prometheus and you're done!
