Hacking Upgrading from a 8gb card to 64gb card without re-installing everything?

My bro has a couple of downloaded Vita games, emulators, and honebrew on his 8gb card, but wants to up grade to a 64gb card. Can the data from the 8gb card be copied over to the 64gb card, or will have have to reinstall everything on the 64gb card?

He can just copy everything from the old memory card to his PC and then to the 64GB memory card using Vitashell's USB mode and it'll work fine.

Time ago, I used QCMA backup option, but go with Vitashell if that works!
