International models don't have a locked bootloader as far as Samsung is concerned. I heard the US-exclusive variants have it tho.you can all you need is an unlocked bootloader
I never took the knox update on my s3
Who even cares about KnoxI nuked away knox after getting root
On some builds knox interferes with root and locks SE to EnforcingWho even cares about Knox
Actually, it doesn't matter. My Tab S has Knox, and.... The issue with SE wasn't Knox. The kernel simply doesn't allow it. Installing a modified kernel made it possible to change. And what interferes is the application part of Knox which can easily be removed anyway. On some builds knox interferes with root and locks SE to Enforcing
So another problem
I wiped the 2 caches, and installed golden nova cm11.
Now it stuck on a blinking screen whivh says "android" for over 30 minutes. Did I fuck up something?
Edit: tried pulling out the battery and reboot, but stuck again on the same screen. I´m able to boot into cw recovery though if that helps

Talking about custom roms
Does anyone know a nice custom rom for LG L45?
i found some but i think they are scams
Actually, one can easily bypass those annoyances while keeping stock firmware. I know so, I used to do in on my Samsung phones. Nexus master race now thoughDid you wipe the data partition (i.e. wipe all user data (except maybe the 'internal storage' folder))?
Anyone who cares about stock firmware where it can cause issues e.g. disabling certain features, annoying messages, etc.
Why care about stock? You may need to remove root for x reason (e.g. Sky Go), use the mhl adapter, etc.
I'd suggest checking out xda-developers.

How is it a problem at all?The methods i heard involved removing/ disabling them which could still be a problem, ymmv.
Depends on the model. Widely known models are most likely to be supported by the community.Interesting! I Was planning to get an old Xperia that don't have support anymore.
So It's mean I could update too, if I really get this phone?

Uh, those are very minor features imho, and you can sell knox-tripped devices.... I've done it before. Most people don't care for Samsung Pay anyway. You might want the features e.g. Samsung Pay? You might want to sell the phone? Etc.
