Hi! I recently got a ps4, its firmware is 3.11. I want to install CFW so I was wondering what was the best firmware to be on right now for that, thanks!

5.05 is probably the best one to be on atm. Although most payloads still needs to be ported from 4.55, 5.05 is focused on CFW/hombrew for the PS4.
