Hardware Upgrade/Downgrade to Specific Firmware Without Card Update

Hello. I would like to update to a specific firmware without having to do the gamecard update. I dont want to update to 11.3 because of the performance issues and other things. If there is a way to and it would not be error prone when done correctly I would appreciate it.

What firmware you on atm? That would give me a lot of help so I can help you.

Do you have CFW (e.g. Luma3DS) installed, or are you on an old exploitable system version? If not, then you can't install a specific update without a specific gamecard.

Which version are you on, and which version are you trying to update to?

I believe the performance issues are fixed in the latest Luma hourly.

I was on 9.2 after a downgrade and I used a old backup that I found (that I thought I deleted) to update to 11.2. Thanks for the replies with the info.
