Hacking Updating to 4.3U

I need to update to 4.3U, what's the safest way? I was contemplating using Waninkoko's Updater, but it seems people have been renouncing it lately. And I tried just updating the Wii Shop itself, but I'm guessing I'm missing some system IOS's that it needs, because it keeps telling me that I have to update my system menu. Thanks in advance.

-BTW, only updating to get some DLC for DJ Hero.

You can update using Wii Mod, just make sure you are running the latest HBC before upgrading to 4.3. As zizer pointed out you don't need to update the system menu just the IOSs and shop.

Okay, so I updated as you told me to, and updated the Wii Shop channel, but now I get the blue error #002 when I open up the shop channel. Everything else is fine, it's just this. Any suggestions?
