Hacking Updating to 1.1 problems

So, I want to play the new games coming out, but most give the "can't read data" error.

I'd like to learn how to patch my R4 firmware from 1.08 to 1.11.. I have all the files (i think) but after looking around on the wide world of the intarweb I have no idea how to do it correctly.

Could anyone provide me with a step by step instruction on how to update my R4 to 1.1?

You just extract the zip file to the root of your MicroSD, overwriting the old firmware files.

I cant find the exact files anywhere, only patching files.. that are .exe

Drawn to Life and SimCity both give the errors
