I have a Wii that is running system menu 4.1 with cIOS 222, 223, and 224, and BootMii as an IOS. ("Launch BootMii" appears on the HBChannel menu) with Priiloader installed. My question is, am I safe to update?

I know updating removes Priilloader. Should I manually remove the custom IOSes?

Thanks.

No there is absolutely no reason to update.Just install the latest of all the official IOS or if you have Darkcorp just install the latest IOS 56 and 61 as well as the shop channel.

It is safe to update to 4.3 as long as you have the latest version of the Homebrew Channel installed (1.0.8). It will delete Priiloader and most of your cIOS files (so there's no reason to delete them manually). After the update, you will have to reinstall your cIOS files.

However, there is no reason to update since 4.2 and 4.3 add no new functionality; they were merely put out as a way to combat homebrew. If you want to update your IOS and cIOS files, I highly recommend just using ModMii.

Thanks for the replies.

Good to know it's safe to update.

I really don't use that many apps that deal with cIOS; Riivolution solved that for me.
