Hacking Updates & DLC with different region vita

Looking for some advice from the geniuses at GBAtemp! I have a EUR vita - can I install game updates and dlc from other regions via the latest version of maidumptool?

All tho the vita is region free. Meaning you can play any game cart from any region

But.....

Once you set up a psn account. All downloads are locked to the region you signed up under.

Also. If its a north american game. It has to have north american dlc. If its an imported. Japan game. You wont be able to update it or download it unless your psb is japan. I belive this is thebsame with dumped games unless theve found away to bypass it.

If you are using maidumptool/Vitamin, it does not matter what region your PSN is as long as the game, update and dlc are the same region.

Thanks for replying, so I should be able to use the US Dragon Quest Builders plus dlc then? On another site I was advise 'You may need to convert it by changing param.sfo in the dlc_folder' or is that not an issue?

Thanks, I've not got far enough in the game to see if the dlc is working yet but hopefully it is!
