Interesting. Never knew there was more than one copy of boot2 in a wii. At least I know now that bricking from a bootmii install is less likely.
The thing about multiple boot2's and copies of the ECC data is intriguing. Glad to know there's at least some redundancy in the boot chain.
I'm glad that they put this out to clear up misconceptions since the first few posts about the 4.2 update weren't so clear on how bad the issue was or wasn't and it was easy to assume that the update was abnormally volitle.
