NesDS could not send your confirmation mail. Please check your e-mail address for invalid characters.
Mailer returned: Unknown error in PHP's mail() function.
Confirmation email can't be sent, but login works.
I need to get a testing environment ready and then I'll help write up some stuff for the wiki.

How can I get FDS games to work? Everytime I load a FDS game it doesn't load it gives me a glitched version of FDS Loading screen. Can anyone help me Please?

Edit: I had the same problem, I did two things that may have fixed the issue.
First I opened the bios (.nes file) and it created a save file next to it.
Then I searched and re downloaded the .fds games from different sites until I found one that seems to have the proper roms.

You got a wrong fds rom for nesDS, which gives you the glitched thing. You should re-download it from other sites.
The right fds rom start with 'F', 'D', 'S', while others start with 'N', 'E', 'S'. The mapper for a fds game should be 20.
When you have a file named with xxx.fds, nesDS will treat it as fds rom by force.

Hello, it would be possible to add some
images of a Nintendo or from games to the menus background? A kind of skin or theme,
it is only visual but would be very good.

The only problem with multiplayer is that the screen on the second DS can't keep up with the gameplay: the first player's DS is exactly in sync with what the second player is doing, but the second player's DS has a visual delay that makes playing many games virtually impossible.

i cannot get fds to work no matter what.
i tired the bios from the second link in a google search ( :P)
its not working.
Answer is on the wiki already (since a while ago).

That problem is known already and Huiminghao has been suggesting that the players watch the host's screen in order to play.

The 2p's screen is delayed due to the wifi delay.... The typical delay for 2P is 100ms, which is very noticeable for playing.
I dont have another nds, so I could not make update for it.
If any one would help testing my demo nesDS with nifi updates, please tell me. I could make some binaries for you and then reply me with the result...

ps:
I just made a special version for nesDS1.2b, with nifi delay set to 20ms... Please help test it.
https://sourceforge....ms.zip/download

using the nifi test version i played some 2player SM3 (single card method on XL and 3DS)

the game screens stayed in synch until (during paused gameplay) i changed the sprite rendering from pertile to puresoft on the 'guest' DS, and it started to have a bit of lag in button response.

i did a reset and played a bit more (without messing with settings) and had no synch issues. i'll try to check out some other games and report back.

Hi,

First off – thanks for the continued updates made to this emulator.

Here is my wish-list for next to implement:

1 – Game-fixes for the following games:
  • Batman
  • Punch-out

2 – Implementation of mapper 163.
The homebrew update of FF7 is coming closer and closer to finalization...
– it would be great if this becomes playable on NesDS.

All the best,

FFVII is already playable on NESDS, it's been playable for some time.

Thanks for clarifying that.

Have anybody applied the latest patch (any patch) from the homebrew-project page and can verify that it works patched?

/dACE
Yeah, I did, it works fine.

Yeah, I did, it works fine.

Great news - then there is nothing but wait patiently until Lugia2009 finalizes his work.

Then my only request would be Punch-Out and Batman fixes.

I think he's been working on Punch-Out for a while (since the beginning, I think). It works, but there are graphical glitches (though it's fully playable).
