Sorry to be a bother, and this might sound like my other question a while back, but in addition to nesds r95 I found out that none of the nesDS files work on my DSTWO, unless it's the one from 2007. The attached link is the nesDS that works, but it's extremely old and not nearly as nice as nesDS EX.

What's confusing is that none of the newer nesDS files work on my DSTWO, but they used to. The latest I had working was probably nesDS EX 1.0a. But now even that refuses to work. Maybe the problem started after updating the DSTWO firmware? Also, I've tried 1.0b, but that boots up to a white screen also. Also, holding (A) while loading any nesDS EX doesn't make a difference either. Am I really the only person with this problem? Help would be appreciated...

P.S. And also, 1.0b works on my sister's Acekard 2i.

nesDS(ex) cannot work on dstwo without the 'plugin config' thing. You need the nesDS.ini or some other files to make it work. Maybe you have a broken config file.
I dont have a dstwo, so I cannot test it. This is the info I got from others.

Oh, and I tried it with and without the plugin that worked previously. I've tried starting it from going into the DS game selection menu, then clicking the nesDS.nds from there and I also get white screens. Is it a problem on my end? It's worked before on my DSTWO....and it works on my sisters' Acekard and R4 cards....

I downloaded latest nesDS 1.0b (actually nesDS r95, the latest does not include the .ini, maybe that's why it failes?`or it's because I didn't try the rename .nds to .bin?)
Got it running on my old EZ4 :) *happy
I used DLDIrc (a windows explorer add-in) which allows me to rightclick .NDS files and DLDI patch them.
I downloaded latest DLDI patch for EZ4! from: http://blog.dev-scen...007/09/ezsd.zip
Then I simply copied the NDS and ini to the SD-card via windows explorer. (I did not use EZ4client)
Then I renamed .NDS-file to .BIN

and viola it works!

First I would like to thank you for all the hard work put into this emulator to make it as awesome as it is. The main reason for my post is to ask if there is anyone else experiencing problems with the NIFI. My husband has a ads and I have a DSi and when we try to use the NIFI function on a game (Recently SMB 3) nothing happened. Am I possibly missing something? We both have an Acekard 2i same firmware etc.

Holy crap, I never even knew that this updated build of NES DS even had NiFi support at all! The list of DS homebrew programs that support this is extremely small, as it's not officially supported by DevKitARM and most old code for it broke long ago, but a quick Google search shows that you're right in that the feature was added in May.

Unless the NiFi broke in a later version, I suspect the difference in DS hardware might be the cause. You might want to reach out to your friends and see if you can try it from a DS-to-DS, or DSi-to-DSi, etc.

i read a response from wintermute (no time to track it down before the holidays) where he stated nifi for the ds was inherently broken. something about how he would never officially embrace it until a bunch of things were rewritten.

with that said, some of copper's nifi supported emus work great from ds-to-dsi for me. however, i was never able to get sno bros working with any combination of ds/flash kits.

@ huiminghao, it looks like NIFI got broken. I just tried it with the latest nesDS r95 (single card method) between my XL and my DSL with RC pro am 2 (which i know worked at some point). It failed to connect. So i went backwards with versions and found that v0.56a works.

@ CandiceYaacobi, see if the older 0.56a works for ya'll.
edit:smb3 doesnt seem to work very well , it'll connect, but when you switch players, the 'guest' screen doesnt switch over to player2 (but you can still play looking at the 'host' screen hehe).

Is there any reason why the buttons are...overly sensitive?

I especially noticed this with Castlevania and Zelda when I tried to put in a name and it did the same letter four times with one button press.
