Hacking Updated by mistake, need help

Hi all,

The other night when launching Tinfoil I wasn't paying attention properly and when it asked me to update I just hit yes. This immediatelty shut down my Switch and spawned this error meesage on my screen - "Fatal error: NXBOOT unable to identify package 1, press power button to reboot". Hitting the powerbutton just sent me back to this this error message.

I tried to reset the Switch with the long press reset which did stop the above error message appearing but now I can't even lauch into the standard switch fireware, nevermind the CFW. I think I might have updated the fireware by mistake. I appreciate this is my first post here, but I've looked everywhere and this community seems to have loads of sollutions for problems, so I was hoping someone could get me out of a bind here and help because I'm at a complete loss on what to do

When I plug the Switch into the PC it does find it, I get the noise from the PC to say it's plugged in and Tegra sees it.

But when I try to load the payload with Tegra I just get this error

This is what the files look like on my Switch SD card. Am I missing something from here?

I also have this backup on PC I did with the guide I used (which I can't use to restore this because it requires using the payload). Can I do anything with these backups?

Any help would be greatly appreciated because right now my Switch is bascially bricked.

Atmosphere and the hekate payload.

Yes you are missing both Atmosphere and Hekate on your SD card. If you updated the firmware to v. 12.0.0 you need the latest Athmosphere 0.19.1 and Hekate 5.5.5

Are you sure you're using Atmosphere? Doesn't Tinfoil purposely quit when it detects hekate?

Either way, update to latest Atmosphere and Hekate and use Hekate 5.5's payload.

No it's been working perfectly fine, it wasn't until I updated by mistake it all messed up. I'll give it a go with the updated files. See if that does anything.

Are you sure you're using Atmosphere? Doesn't Tinfoil purposely quit when it detects hekate?

you can get past that if you just rename patches.ini, just don't forget to rename it back when you're done with tinfoil

I'd perform a disk check on your sd just in case too like via chkdsk. It's a bit concerning since your folders disappeared after an update. I accidentally updated too and did not have that issue.

I think Clingwrap is better but you'll have to fix it if the OS accidentally bluescreens.
