Homebrew Update to 10.3 correctly on n3DS

I'm asking here because the search function of this site is trash.
To update my new 3DS to 10.3, all I have to do is download the GW ULTRA 3.7, extract the firmware .bin and replace it on my SD Card, then just start updating?

You just replace the Launcher.dat, then you can update through System Settings.

Make sure you see "GW" before you firmware number in system settings before updating.

And RX is set to autoboot, updating sysnand isn't a problem.

Yes, you can use rxtools to update the emunand. It wouldn't boot with RXtools until it supports it officially though

If you're using rxTools, you need to wait for rxTools to update their launcher. The Gateway launcher only works with Gateway.

Although, he can update with RXtools just fine.
Then, booting with Gateway should work right away.

ReiNAND was recently updated to work with 10.3, so you can always look into that.

I confirm that ReiNand works just fine with emunand 10.3 in my end.

Either use Gateway or Reinand, both achieve the same result.
CakeFW is compatible too, and RXtools is going to support it as well soon.

I'm not gonna mess around with other CFW. It was enough of a pain to get to RXmode, I formatted sysnand 7 times to get it right. Plus my emunand might not be compatible.

emuNAND works with rxTools, Gateway and ReiNAND all the same, I've alternated between them at various points.

Then, your best bet is to wait for the newer version of RXtools It should come very soon.

Sadly, yes. It prevents you to boot gateway without a Gateway card.
